AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Their company tagline says 'Fixed Timescales' and 'Transparent' process. FAKE NEWS!!! This my first ever review of a company or service but i feel i am compelled to write about IAMsold and their frankly misleading advertising and complete disregard they have shown in my case. They are a cowboy outfit who are simple out to get their reservation fees.Once they are in receipt of this you are screwed. If you are reading this please take this advice into serious consideration before buying a property with these s*. First of all their Modern Method of Auction advises that the seller and buyer are obliged to contract within 28 days. This is FAKE NEWS!!!!!!!! The seller can delay this date to their hearts content because they know that once the buyer has paid the reservation fee they are stuck!! In my case the vendors and their solicitors have decided to with-hold a simple piece of information regarding management charges for 6 weeks!!! Furthermore, the Vendor does not have to comply to give this information they can delay forever!! The buyer cannot withdraw. I am stuck for a property i could have purchased 3 weeks ago. I have incurred losses on dis-invested cash for purchase and also extreme inconveniences of having absolutely no idea when i can transact. The Sales Progression team are a joke. They don't read emails and behave as if they are doing you a favour when you speak to them. I have paid a £15k auction fee so am trapped. But i have honestly got to the point of giving up on the fee because of all the stress and hassle. Please take my advice, avoid any property transactions with these guys.

As with all auction transactions there are timescales in which matters must exchange and complete, the Modern Method of Auction timescales being 28 days to exchange with a further 28 days to complete (56 days in total). However if either the seller or the buyer require extra time then the seller can grant an extension to the reservation period - this is confirmed in your reservation agreement that you read and signed before purchasing the property. This is also referenced to in the Modern Method of Auction Terms and Conditions. I have looked into your property matter and can confirm that the property is leasehold. At the beginning of any sale progression we are transparent by ensuring all sellers and buyers are supplied with an information letter or email confirming where the property to be sold is leasehold with a management company in place it could take longer than 28 days for all the necessary information to be provided and exchange could be delayed but it is expected that the overall 56 days to completion can still be achieved. This is because a management company charge for this information and adhere to their own timescales. I have checked over your file and found that there has been a high amount of contact between you and your dedicated sales progressor. When a customer emails our Sales Progression Team, an acknowledgement email is sent immediately confirming our timescales in replying however if the matter is urgent to call us directly. The team are here to offer support and guidance, request and provide updates and assist with progressing matters to exchange of contracts however we act only as an intermediary between the seller's and buyer's solicitors. Your property file is currently being dealt with the utmost importance and your dedicated sales progressor will be in touch shortly with an update. You currently have an extension in place and we are still within the 56 days. 20 Aug 2017Avoid . It's a way for sellers to get more than market value and offload a home with a lot of problems. The Master Shipwrights House at Pembroke Dock ( being auctioned on is sold).Title not registered with land registry. The building is seriously flawed ...and the vendor just wants the money. You'll end up paying too much through the extensive work and there has been works that has been done without planning permission which means because it is a Grade 2* building ; the council will make you put it right. Total nightmare building. There may also be issues wrt flooding at a later date.....there are NO sea defenses.

29 May 2018I would tend to agree it is a stich up. The only people who win here are the Auctioneers. My experience is very mixed. This not really an auction it is a bidding meeting and then it becomes like a private sale. Unless there are exceptional circumstances am not sure as a seller I could recommend this process.

14 Sept 2018I have not had a bad experience to date but my partner has and it is not acceptable that he was not informed of the processor intentions. We was walking to the takeaway and noticed his property was assigned to public auction on a set date at a hotel. We had no knowledge of this until seeing it in the window . The agent does not make regular contact as promised which creates a lack of trust. We spoke to Carl who did not acknowledge this failure and suggested my partner reduce the price of the house despite stating 90+ download auction packs The bungalow is at a high standard and the agreed auction price is still below the offers previously made and valued price We accepted it was now to be at auction and consider the possibility of a lower price by negotiation at the public auction Yesterday he was informed by another agent named rob that he was now dealing with it, and it had 155 download packs but no viewings therefore it was removed from the public auction on the planned date . This is not acceptable under the consumer act 2008 as the information given did not provide enough notice, the excuse for the decision to remove it from the auction is not lawful as no written information was provided to highlight decisions made without adequate and sufficient reason and notice . Regarding the verbal discussion stating the reason quote - only 155 down loads not being closer to 200 is not a valid acceptable reason At auction the public attending are deprived from having the opportunity to bid on this property. The property has been advertised as in the public auction at forest pine hotel for over 3 weeks It is just unacceptable. After three calls today and one by my partner we have not had a reply .. the comment was made by the agent that it reflects badly if the property is not sold at the auction ... Hence removing it from the auction 3 days before .. Your agent cannot make assumptions of the outcome of a public auction. We want the sale to proceed as planned and expect written conformation within 24hrs and dealt with in a professional manner. The complaint will be passed to the omundsonman if not dealt with efficiently The property is 37 West acridge Barton on Humber DDM

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
