Awful experience with with letting agency. We reported issues in the property multiple times and they were never fixed. We were even left to pay hundreds when we moved in to fix issues ourselves. Left for weeks with no hot water as they tried to be cheap with getting someone to fix it. Would not ... Read Full Review

Worst letting agent I've ever had to deal with. I have contacted First Union lettings regarding a property that I've already viewed 6 months ago and became available again, saying that I wanted to make a deposit to secure the flat as I was fully aware of the flat condition, location, etc. The lettings manager said that she wasn't happy with me ... What agent could do to change your mind?

I think they should have informed me about the possibility of viewing the flat earlier (as I was informed that 11.00 am was the earliest possibility to view the flat on that date). And given that I received incorrect information about viewing times on 27/2/2014 and I explicitly said that when I called the agency for the fist time that I wanted to put a deposit to secure the flat, I think First Union should have given priority to my request.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
