This lady viewed this property several times and at no time did she disclose to us that the maximum amount she could spend was actually significantly lower than the asking price. When she did make an offer it was deemed so low as to be an insult to the owner. My colleague did tell her that she was wasting our time and the vendors time as she was clearly viewing properties that were not in her real price range. As an Independent agent we treat any complaints very seriously and look at every individual case in detail. With regards to this particular case we did in fact sell this property very quickly at the asking price, too which the client was delighted. Unfortunately if a buyer then "pulls out" due to matters out of our control we cannot be held responsible over such matters. We have revisited our case notes and comment that we have no control over how solicitors act during any transaction. We always try and recommend the best firms based on highly rated reviews; however it has become apparent that not all companies can provide a good service. With regards to our clients that you bought the house from we were told from day one that they would be vacating due to a separation, however their circumstances changed and gave one of them the ability to buy another property ...
