I agree with the previous review, but I come from a tenants point of view. Gas safety certificates have only recently become an important issue for Red Brick letting. As for rent, after being told the cheque I used to pay my rent had bounced and proving via my bank that the said cheque was in fact paid I was told it's hard for them to keep track and the money was never credited to my account. Correspondence is difficult unless they want something from you so phone calls and e-mails were very rarely followed up. The owner/manager is also far from easy to speak to. I've recently noted that RedBrick Letting is owned by the same company/person as 1st Lettings and i've nevr heard a good word about that company either
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent I spoke to clearly stated they work for the landlord and the tenant so basically they were not able to deal with any concerns I had. It would have been nice if the agent had followed through with both mine and the landlords queries. As it stands I honestly don't know if they were as unhelpful to the landlord as they were to me
