During this tenancy our staff had to endure verbal abuse and slander on many occasions. The tenants in the flat above also had to deal with verbal abuse, threatening behavior. The property was left in a terrible state with poorly decorated walls and generally messy. At no point was Coventry council involved to initiate any form of enforcement. The bond was dealt with through the DPS process. ...

We had no problem with the fees and debating the costs of monthly rent and even the deposit - they were fast in changing this for us as we did not need the furniture within the room we are renting.

As in all cases with Bond / Deposits we use the DPS scheme. Bonds that are not paid back to the tenant are subject the rigorous processes that DPS demand are fully followed. The decision to the return of deposits is 100 % down to the outcome of a DPS investigation. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent I spoke to clearly stated they work for the landlord and the tenant so basically they were not able to deal with any concerns I had. It would have been nice if the agent had followed through with both mine and the landlords queries. As it stands I honestly don't know if they were as unhelpful to the landlord as they were to me
