Very similar experience. Initially asked FI to sell my property and they were hopeless, no viewings in a month. Got someone else in and immediate viewings. Then decided to rent with a small company called NEST. Personal service from their main guy Matt. All went well until about 2014 when he told me the 'good news' - FI had bought him out. I was perturbed and told him I hope they're not as bad at lets as they are at sales.
They're even worse. They don't care a hoot for the tenant or the prope ...

I'm in exactly the same boat with them! I have children under 5 and have been waiting since 5th January for maintenance to come and replace my leaking radiator! They left me for around 1 week without a boiler over Christmas with my children, we had to stay with family.
