I would personally use anyone else bar this firm, we used Paul and where very clear our offer was contingent in being in by Christmas (this was august) and he advised the seller had agreed, absolutely not the case and the sale nearly fell through because our solicitors tried for the sale... I used Your Move with the recent sale of our property in Devon. I had submitted all of the paperwork, including a Property Information Questionnaire (PIQ) where I explained at length about recent flooding events due to a network issue. Your Move took it upon themselves, to copy that PIQ, remove... Read Full Review

My advice would be to go with another company if you are letting your property , as the last 3 tenants they have provided have fallen well below expectation . They just do not get enough former landlords' or employers' references ( and do not tell you they have failed to get them !) .... Read Full Review

Completed our purchase of a property, in Newton Abbot, at end of March 2019, after a nightmare 6 months, due to solar panels. Paul went the extra miles to help us through it and I would recommend him & the branch, to anyone buying or selling property in this... Read Full Review

Avoid this branch and company at all costs. The man is abusive and rude, he probably won't put your offer through to the vendor because he tells you they'll laugh in your face! Wouldn't ever EVER use this service they are abusive and... Read Full Review

My friend was about to put an offer on a flat today. She rang and spoke to Paul Caisley. He was verbally abusive down the phone, told her that the vendor would laugh in her face about the offer. He was practically shouting at her and left her in tears. We then spoke to Ben who was absolutely lovely ... Read Full Review

The agents fees aren’t the cheapest or dearest but the service you get makes it well worth the money.

We had a great experience with Louise. She chased solicitors when they had gone quiet. Always kept me in the loop and didn't get frustrated towards the end when I was ringing her most days. Sometimes when calling up and Louise wasnt in the office Iwould be waiting for a call back but other... Read Full Review

Hi As a tenant newly moved in I was unaware (my fault) that YOUR MOVE estate agency would not allow me to choose my own energy supplier and by default I have to go with their choice which is Spark Energy. I have tried to stop the transfer and to make Flow Energy my first choice but I am told that ... Read Full Review
The agent should not charge for 'Permitted Occupier' fee in addition to the holding fee. The agent should not nominate or pass my details on to any energy supplier but should leave that to me to decide which supplier to use. They should take that out of the agreement form.
I was charged a holding fee of £300 which was not refundable. They also charged me £90 for permission for my son to move in as a "Permitted Occupier". I feel this is an unfair fee and should be refunded to me.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
