Sorry this coming late
William H Brown was our second mortgage broker after an underwhelming experience with the first one.
Our mortgage broker was Geeta Divecha Cert CII (MP). Senior Mortgage and Protection Consultant.
From the get-go i, it was obvious we were with the right person |. Her calming ad clear explanation of the process was reassuring and just comes across as an honest person.
Throughout the process, we were carried along and when things seem a bit the expected, she took her time to reassure us and was always available( via all avenues).
If we had to go through this again and she is available i will definitely use her again

However during this time, Lyndsey was a phenominal help. She was open and honest with the situation and did everything in her power to push the issue foward and make sure to chase the matter any time there was a delay. On top of this she kept us in the loop constantly.
While I cannot say this has been a pleasant experience to go through, I am happy to have had Lyndsey being a genuine help the whole time.

They failed to initiate a rental increase we had instructed and when pushed, could not prove they had informed the tenants (not emailed them or sent letter recorded delivery etc).

I have only given William H Brown 1 star because the system would not allow me to continue with no stars! I used the Leicester branch back in 2014 to let a property which they then continued to part-manage until Dec 2017. They failed to initiate a rental increase we had instructed and when pushed, could not prove they had informed the tenants (not emailed them or sent letter recorded delivery etc).
When we ended the tenancy and requested inventory photos/original documentation they finally admitted after several weeks of excuses that they had lost the supporting documentation for the initial let and had no idea what had happened to the file! Losing personal information is a gross breach of trust and has meant that we have had to return the deposit. After several weeks of email exchanges, we have had no apology or promise of refunding our lost deposit! - Next step - Solicitor is on speed-dial.

She is very approachable and has been very supportive in helping us to have our deposit refunded to us from our previous landlord. From initially making contact with her to query the end of our tenancy to receiving confirmation that our deposit was being released, she has been very efficient in her role.
