Terrible customer service! Agency totally breached their side of the tenancy agreement. Would not return calls, e-mails or get in touch with the landlord. Useless, money driven and unprofessional.
They have changed terms and conditions prior to the signing date so we couldn't say no. Upon dealing with staff in person we found out they have no manners and are quite rude. Especially we were displeased with Gail Hines and Pam McConnell.
Shower was a mere dribble, boiler would always break, there were problems with electrics. When they sent a professional the guy left a massive hole in our ceiling, which Venmores refused to mend. Then they tried to fix a jammed sash window with a bottle of lucozade and just left it there dangling from a split windowframe. Finally, they let buildders on site and one of them stole our bike.
SIMPLY THE WORST AGENCY IN TOWN!

They do not care about their tenants. Once they get your money they dont want to know. Promise to get work done before you move in, never gets done. Send 'cowboys' to do the repairs if your lucky enough to get them done. Takes days sometimes weeks to reply to emails. Attitude when you ring stinks! They will find the least thing to hold on to your deposit. If you are already renting from them, a word of warning if you decide to move, make sure anything that was already in the property when you moved in, tell them dont just leave it as they will accuse you...and keep back most of your money......Even if its a something like a screwdriver .yep ..screwdriver.....They need to be blown up, disgusting customer service you can imagine.....

Dates mixed up, overcharged, sent letters titled 'male inspectors only to attend' as my name, informed of every date incorrectly, repairs werent undertaken, Darren Kay and his team need to seriously look at themselves, total bunch of useless £$%^&^%$$£.

Worst service i have ever experienced in my life. Words cant even describe how awful their service is, it has taken 7 months and a lot and a lot of ignored emails and phone calls on their behalf from spending �80 to take the property off the market and finally signing the tenancy agreement, however the property still isn't ours after 7 months of stress, as Venmore can't even organise a time to take our deposits! Takes between a week and 2 months to reply to an email, would have done a better job myself, they don't even deserve one star.

To summarise my experience with Venmore over the past 2 years:
- Unable to reply to emails, no matter if you email directly or via the email address on website - Ask staff about emails and they pretend to have never been received - Guarantee callbacks but never follow them up - Unable to communicate with landlord to rectify outstanding flat issues - Unable to communicate with landlord to progress with checking out (Deposit Resolution etc) - Hung up on several times while reporting a problem with the flat in question - Staff are extremely unfriendly & ill mannered - Constantly attempt to issue additional charges i.e. periodic inspection appointments (cancellation)
After renting for 8 years in Liverpool, I can confidently say that this hands down, the worst business I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with.
Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs!

Disgusting. I had an appointment booked with which appeared to be a reputable estate agent. Unfortunately on the day I had a funeral to attend of a close family member. As a matter of urgency I was on my way to London in the morning. I spoke to a representative 2 hours before the appointment and confirmed the cancellation and promised a call back to reschedule (which never happened). This morning i called back and the lovely Joanna Hudson (Branch manager!?) picked up. I firstly appologised regarding my absence yesterday and explained that I needed to go London as a matter of urgency She immediately snapped at me, giving me a mouthful of how she left a message and I failed to contact her back. I tried to explain it was a difficult time in the family and due to being on the train I did no have service. She continued to moan and make me feel even worse. Eventually after taking all the bitter words from her, I told her some sympathy would have been appropriate and hung up. Terrible terrible service, worst in my property experience Avoid venmores and avoid Joanna- who clearly doesn't deserve to be part of venmores yet a manager? Something has clearly gone wrong.

We have rented through Venmores for 2 years and throughout that time have had a number of issues. We have had 2 leaks in the flat, a broken washing machine (broken before we arrived and made worse by a repair man). We have had several issues with the bathrooms and Venmores have been terrible throughout the process of our dealings with them. They never answer the phone; instead saying that the person we need to talk to isn't available. They take messages but do not pass them on and generally take a very long time to reply to any correspondence, requiring several attempts to chase them before we could obtain any response. We have wasted a lot of time waiting around for issues to be fixed. We left the flat in a much better state than when we arrived, having undergone a thorough clean but it was a real struggle to get our deposit back. I would recommend that anyone takes photos of everything before they move in and writes a thorough report as, although we did this, they have refused our full deposit back. We were accused one month for not paying rent that month, but when we checked it had gone out of our bank account we called Venmores and they said it was the way their system works and sometimes falters when 2 payments have gone out the same month (ie. on a weekend). This seems to have been an issue with other tenants at Venmores too. Overall, I would strongly advise using an alternative agent as, although they are positive in the dealings before moving into the property, they are useless once the tenant has been signed up.

I have been with several estate agents over the past few years, and Venmores provides by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have been renting through Venmores for the past 8 months, and have had several problems with the property, which have taken hours and hours out of our time chasing up Venmores. Their property managers do not reply to emails, phone calls, callback requests, it is impossible to get in touch with them. When you do finally speak to someone, they have no recollection of any of the maintenance issues you have reported, it almost seems as they have no system for logging maintenance requests at all. I still have not managed to get them to fix any of the maintenance requests that I first submitted over 3 months ago. This really is just the tip of the iceberg, please look elsewhere before renting with this company!!!!

Did next to nothing for us, for the year we lived in a property rented by them. Although we paid rent by standing order, we were once accused of not paying a months rent, despite providing evidence (bank receipts) to the contrary; were harassed until we had to get our bank involved, when the accusations suddenly stopped and they were nice as pie. Although we were promised a formal letter confirming that we paid our rent, it was never honoured. Two months after moving out of the property, Venmores lifted a month's rent from our bank account and were slow to pay it back - forcing us into the red for nearly a month. Three weeks ago we were told our deposit was being returned in the form of a cheque: it has still not arrived. When I call the office to enquire about it I am told it should have been sent out and whoever I speak to promised to "chase it up" and call me back. As of yet, nobody has ever called me about my cheque and each time I call, it's as if my previous enquiries have never happened. This is a shoddily run business at best, and a downright corrupt one at worst. Either way: avoid.

I'm with Venmore over 3 years all repairs like my oven take over 4 months wash machine 2 months and last cocker one month. They will be nice and sweet until you let from them any flat after that they will not care about you and your problems don't pick up phones putting you on side until you start swearing. I decide to move out and I know from others they will be big problem with take back deposit I'm just scared now. Never take any flat from Venmore in Liverpool city centre. Problems with water r every month cos poor maintaining company don't care about that to. Keep away. Seriously.
