The agent was selling a flat next to one I was close to completing on in the same building. What agent could do to change your mind?
Don't go around "tapping up" owners of properties that a sale has already been agreed upon. You are encouraging a climate of \'Ghost Gazumping\'.

The agent was selling a flat next to one I was close to completing on in the same building. The flat they were marketing was on significantly higher (225k) than the price I had agreed some months prior with my vendor(180k), even though the flats were similar size/spec. I have been told by the vendor and the agent I was using on the original sale that the agent from uniplan bumped into my vendor in the communal hallway and told him that he could achieve a much higher figure for them. My vendor then proceeded to break off our protracted(through no fault of mine) sale and request to re-market with the agents I was using for much higher than agreed 5 months earlier(230k). I am fed up with these unscrupulous Estate agents and the lies and tricks they use to increase their commission. I advise no one to use this agent as they are dishonest and untrustworthy, More so, if that is even possible, than other agents!

Overall, I was treated like a 10 year old, although I am a mature woman of 67.
