Charlie Smith from Savills is a first class estate agent. She was polite, charming, helpful, and extremely efficient in her replies. Charlie Smith from Savills is a first class estate agent.
She was polite, charming, helpful, and extremely efficient in her replies.
She was patient in handling her neurotic client (me!) and was highly adept at finessing the negotiations on the sale.
She bent over backwards to accommodate a number of requests I had regarding access to the property between exchange and completion for various people to undertake inspections ahead of works to be done.
This enabled us to make a lot of advance progress with works we wanted to start with upon completion.
She never made me feel difficult for contacting her many times, and replied by return.
She was also very flexible. We only came to buy the house because she was prepared to find a way to accommodate our children attending the viewing, taking careful, safe and well thought out precautions. Had she not been so helpful, we had already decided we couldn’t come if they couldn’t come as there was no one else to leave them with in lockdown.
I think that people like Charlie give estate agents a good name, and Savills a good name.
I would not hesitate to recommend her, and would use her again.
I will now miss having an excuse to contact her!
She is an excellent mix of being lovely and professional.

I was a tenant in the Stansted area and Savills Bishops Stortford was the agency. I was misled in terms of aircraft noise by both landlord and Savills. What agent could do to change your mind?
Been more impartial between tenant and landlord. Insisted that the landlord actually fulfils his obligations.
Comments (1)I was a tenant in the Stansted area and Savills Bishops Stortford was the agency. I was misled in terms of aircraft noise by both landlord and Savills. On check-in I was confronted with a poorly cleaned house and absolutely filthy cooker. It took the landlord over 2 weeks to rectify the cooker and Savills were of no use. The landlord was appalling and Savills seemingly unable to get him to do what a normal landlord should do eg gas and electricity safety checks and certificates on check-in. Furthermore, at check out Savills colluded with the landlord to extract as much money as possible from my deposit. The dilapidations report by the inventory clerk was not adopted fully by Savills dilapidations team who were rude and dismissive.
