It is a great shame we had to find alternative accomodation but if and when we have to re-locate we will certainly not hesitate to contact your office.

I don't normally take the time to do reviews but our family has been so impressed with how everyone at Robert Bell dealt with the sale of my Aunt's property that I felt the need to post one. The service was brilliant throughout the whole process. From the initial valuation, the professional brochure, dealing with the viewings and getting feedback (good and bad!) to us. When the sale was agreed we could always rely on Amy to keep us updated on how the sale was going and everyone we spoke to were always lovely to deal with.

Fantastic customer service from the entire sales team at Robert Bells. £50 per applicant - an extra £100 per guarantor Said that if we didn’t get the property we could move the applicant fee to another property - didn’t happen - invoice arrived saying money spent on referencing for first property!

Viewed a house and put in an application paying the fees as required.
Waited for Legal4Landlords to complete their checks and all went fine.
Between myself and my husbands earnings we covered the requested one and half times the rent and at the application stage we disclosed a very old, very small CCJ (due to drop off husbands credit file end December 2017).
All going fine until we received an email stating we needed a guarantor - that's fine too until they requested the guarantor be able to cover 3 and a half times the rent - in today's economy where does anyone earn £2600 a month?!?
When we called to ask why we needed a guarantor we were informed by some snotty woman that she was unable to tell us anything due to data protection - the data was about us!?! She was very snotty and rude and when my husband said we weren't told the vast amount a guarantor would need to cover she basically said it wasn't her problem.
The very next day a letter arrived to say we had been refused the property based on affordability!
Between us we bring in nearly £2100 a month - well over the £650 monthly rent.
I would avoid this company at all costs!

disappointed from start to finish with this agency.

3. Milked extra month rent out of me and when I left the property 3 days early after paying my rent.
they tried to charge over 200 pounds to clean a property I had left immaculate really disappointing service worst ever in many years of renting

They WILL take your money even if you are completely honest with them about your situations and if they say you will be fine if offering 6 months up front and a guarantor (of which i did) they are LYING and will take your money and give you any story just to take your money!

They never returned calls.
Paddy was very rude and hung up on me twice.
He completely mislead me and was totally non accepting of circumstance and he didn't have the motivation to talk to the landlords saying 'i think there is no point' that is NOT the attitude to have!
To begin with he took a week to offer me an appointment for a viewing in the first place.
I earn 4.5 times the rent asked. I have exemplary landlord and work references yet due to my ex husband leaving me in the lurch and me now trying to move nearer family with my two children (which i explain from the offset) they still took my money. They still gave me false hope. DO NOT USE THEM!

When i was looking to rent i was basically told i am not good enough for their landlords, even though i work locally and have a good wage for the area. I have had many friends pay for credit checks and to secure the property only to find out they did this with half a dozen other people and they lost out on cash.
When i was looking to buy, i was looking at a house in a row of 5 where in the last 10 years 3 properties sold on that street for no more than £70,000 but this had a asking price of £130,000..... When we questioned the valuation they just said they had a duty to protect their customers and just tried to encourage me to make a silly offer and wouldnt stop ringing me even though i said i wasnt prepared to make a silly offer.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Pull their finger out of their backsides and concentrate on a bit of customer service. The lady I spoke to first time round was lovely and chirpy when I first spoke to her because the girl who initially answered the phones miscommunicated that I wanted to rent out my own property. As soon as I corrected her to advise I actually wanted to rent one of their advertised properties she instantly turned into a miserable, uninterested jobsworth.
