The staff member that dealt with me didn't go as far as introducing herself; she barely looked at me in fact.
With the consideration that an estate agent is a customer facing representative about to be paid far too much for too little work, she was honestly the rudest and most contemptuous person I have had the displeasure of encountering.
Avoid and head to one of the many other estate agents in Greenwich - if they can not even raise a smile or a pleasantry then I can not believe they are worth their salt during any other, more important part of the property buying process.
If you think I'm wrong, take a minute to read the many other reviews on the internet.

Overall: Terrible experience.
I rented a flat through Oliver Bond, and overall my impression is that they are incompetent, and I would strongly advise people to avoid if possible. Our deposit has been impossible to get back after months of moving out, despite the landlord having no issues. Having them return phone calls or emails is also incredibly difficult. There have been several other issues which I have never experienced with any other lettings agent. This all came as bit of a shock, because superficially Oliver Bond comes across as well presented...but actually very disorganized, and frankly unprofessional.

I created an account on this website just to let everyone know how bad this company is. After my experience, I am convinced that Christopher Bond is a cheat, and he is dishonest and unreliable. The man should be put into jail.
I was looking to buy a property last year in the Greenwich area, and Chris and his colleague Lisa Fairhurst showed us a few properties. We liked one of them, and enquired about the vendor's situation. We were told that the vendor would only agree to an offer at the asking price. So we made an offer. I had read their bad reviews on here, so I was wary, but we loved the flat, and since we were buying, we thought they could not cause us much harm.
We were wrong, because from there on the lies started. They sent an email to the vendor (who was based overseas) with our offer, and cc-ed me in. However after a day, they told us that the offer had been rejected by the vendor. Puzzled by the vendor's behaviour, I guessed something was wrong, so I replied all to the email with some trivial point and I got a mail delivery failure- they had made up the vendor's email address!
When I confronted Chris, he said they had spoken to the vendor by phone, had misspelt the email address, and gave a long explanation why the vendor had changed their mind, and asked us to increase our offer. According to him, the vendor had got a potential corporate tenancy so was not desperate to sell. I got suspicious that maybe they weren't communicating with the vendor at all, and declined.
A month later, the same property came onto the market with another agent. I narrated my experience with Oliver Bond & asked if it was true. The agent spoke to the vendor, who told them that Oliver Bond had never communicated my offer to them, and that there was no truth in the corporate tenancy claim. The vendor was really unhappy with Oliver Bond,because they had kept the property on the market for 12 months without any offer, and after getting frustrated, the vendor had decided to go with another agent. We completed the purchase smoothly, and I was very relieved I did not have to deal with Chris Bond again.

Please do not use this company.. If you are still a tenant using this agency I **strongly** suggest you check that your deposit is protected - which it probably wont be. You are then legally able to reclaim your deposit with up to 3 x in compensation NOW rather than waiting when your tenancy is... Read Full Review

Please do not use this company.. If you are still a tenant using this agency I **strongly** suggest you check that your deposit is protected - which it probably wont be. No one came to meet us for our check out, the checking out inventory never took place, now we're having to take legal action simply to get back our deposit. We have done nothing but be reasonable and when you speak to Christopher on the phone it is SO easy to believe what he is saying because he sounds like a gentleman. My advice, only deal with them via letters sent recorded delivery.

I cannot suggest in strong enough terms to landlords and tenants that you stay away from this agent. They were dishonest to both me and the tenants and would demanded a huge amount of money until the parent of one of the tenants (a legal exec) stepped in and warned them there would be legal action. ... As a landllord I had to constantly chase OB for rent due to me, even when 6 months was paid up front it took 2 months to get that money from them.
EPC certificate was paid for and never carried out and previous tenants have not received deposits.
The owner is a real charmer too, don't be fooled, they shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Numerous problems with Oliver Bond: slow to respond, rude and full of excuses (a classic one is "the person dealing with your matter is on the other line"). When it was time to get them to release the deposit they took over 4 months and solicitors had to be involved. They needed constant chasing and provided a very poor service. With hindsight I should never have used them: they are a complete waste of time. STAY AWAY!

It took me 6 months and £500 in legal fees to get my deposit back from Oliver Bond. This was despite having prepared and supplied all the paperwork in good time and given notice as required. What agent could do to change your mind?
They should have been honest and returned the deposit in a timely manner (14 days as per contract and not 6 months). They should have done it w/out me having to resort to lawyers.

Then they stated I had not given notice (that is because *I* was given notice)! Then they sent part of the moneys to a random bank account: twice! At the end of the day the old set of tricks. At the end of the day, had I not had the £500 for the lawyers, Oliver Bond would have walked away with £2500. So please, please, please: follow my advice and do not use them unless you want to use lawyers too!

Amazed that they are still trading! They are an absolute disgrace and would put anyone off letting a property every again. When they did register it, they did so in their name with the landlord as the tenant! What was more worrying was that there were countless other judgements against them which were still outstanding. Usually its only the tenants who complain about letting agents in such numbers, so its a real testament to how bad they are that there are so many unhappy landlords also!

I found Christopher Bond to be extremely dishonest and had to start with legal threats in order to get paid. Be careful, he will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to get your business. Once you have instructed him, then say byebye to any customer service, all rents/ payments will be in arrears, you will have to employ debt collecting agencies to chase him, so many lies coming from him, from over valued properties to deposits non refunded to tenants, deduction of fees without the landlord's permission. BE CAREFUL.

Let me start by saying that they are the most useless and unprofessional company I have ever had to deal with. I have been chasing my rent for 3 months now and everytime I call I get fobbed off with another story and I get told that the accounts lady is not available.
I have spoken to the accounts lady (christine) only a handle full of times, she is so rude, and does not know how to deal with people, ignores emails and like the other review says she does not know her a** from her elbow. Still chasing my rent to this day and seem to be getting nowhere... I have now started seeking legal advise.
My advice to you is.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!! The worst experience as a LL and I regret ever putting my property on with them!!!!
