I have just rented an apartment via newton fallowell and to say I am disgusted is an understatement, no inspection/ due diligence, even though we went to view the house but the amount of damages that you are unable to see is unbelievable, what they took as inventory was entirely different to what we saw at the property, the Lincoln branch spoke to me as if they were doing me a favour, very unprofessional, I did stand my ground ensuring that I did let them know they weren't doing me a favour. This letting agent needs to be boycotted as they feel untouchable. The oven was dirty, rusted and coated with leftover oil ruminants, Shaking the handrail on the stairwell, Windows sealant are not present, The electrical fuse and meter of the house are exposed, The door that leads to the stairwell from the Living room has pulled out, revealing the frame which holds the lower hinge is weak, The freezer keeps buzzing while a red light indicator comes on and off. Also, the freezer was not properly cleaned with ruminant of peas and corns. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE and they were only concerned about a moving in date and the money as to making sure due diligence of making sure the property was in a good state, Avoid this agent as they are useless.

Absolutely horrendous customer service.
If you want to be ignored and receive no communication or support from an agent use Newton Fallowell, Lincoln. I have had nothing but bad experiences. Poor communication was noticed from day 1. The only timely communication they have are the automatic rent due emails their system sends.
The maintenance portal is ignored regularly or if they bother to look at it, they will just ignore what you have written and try and blame you. Email communication is no better, it is like talking to a wall.

Our property has not even had a periodic inspection and with a new tenancy. We are moving to another letting management agent which is sad as we had been with Easilett before they sold to Newton Fallowell for 10 years.

I have recently sold a property through Newton Fallowell - Lincoln branch.
Firstly, the office itself is warm, welcoming and friendly. It's recent refurbishment really gives a professional yet homely atmosphere as you walk in.
Secondly, all the staff I spoke to were helpful and responsive to any queries we had. I often spoke to Abbie and Kayrn regarding our sale and found them both to be an asset to the company. Both Abbie and Kayrn really give a personalised approach to their work whilst maintaining a professional manner.
We chose to sell our property based on finding another house we were keen to pursue, this in mind Newton Fallowell were quick to value and list our bungalow within a matter of two days! Super quick service.
I would not hesitate to use Newton Fallowell again.

A super service was provided by the whole team.
Fair valuation and excellent marketing, using social media, Rightmove, local press and professional brochures. Buyer was found quickly and selling process made clear from start.
Excellent communication- all calls and emails dealt with promptly and to ensure positive selling process. The sale was mainly dealt with by Abbie and Rebecca, who liaised with solicitors to ensure smooth completion - if they were away from the office they always made sure someone was up to date with the case, and the whole team were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
Would certainly use the estate agents again, and highly recommend.

If you're looking for an estate agent who has
- No interest in getting you moved quickly (although that was discussed as a priority)
- No communication for weeks
- No help whatsoever when it comes to advice on selling your home to encourage interest
- Puts the house up at a larger cost, even though you will dramatically have to lower that cost (and they knew this.)
- Stresses you out no end
- Acts like you're their world, and will do anything to help yet are not proactive in the slightest...
THEN NEWTON FALLOWELL IS FOR YOU!
I only gave 1 star, literally because it would not let me put none. We are counting the days until the contract is over with this company, to try our luck with another. This was my first time selling a house, and tbh it was not a good experience in the slightest. It has been just thing after thing with them, and even when we gave them notice to say we were leaving they said nothing. We had no call, no letter, no nothing. You'd think when your customer is about to leave you, you would at least try to find out why!
Disgraceful, and a waste of our time. I firmly believe that we could have been moved by now if we had gone with someone else.

Deliberately deceitful, highly unprofessional, disgustingly uncourteous!!!
Since I got a job at the University of Lincoln. It takes I travelled almost 6 hours journey and paid about a �100 ticket on public transport to see the proprty. I booked it, paid the referencing fees of �144. The agency agreed to the date for me to acquire the property and everyone was happy. All references went well, I got a place for my son in a nearby school (the reason for choosing this property), left my current property with a set plan on holidays before moving to Lincoln, booked for connection with sky, stored my luggage and paid charges to AnyVan.com for the house move etc etc.
It was only when I asked for some paper required for the city council that the agency told me the house we agreed upon has been let to someone else!!! They kept me in the dart for 25 days - Surprise surprise !!!!
I mean, I have 2 kids and we have no home at the moment in the UK and I am about to start my new job next week. Their email simply said Apologies for any inconvenience caused

What agent could do to change your mind?
Tell the truth. Honesty. Keep potential clients informed. They should have informed us many weeks ago that our application was not the first. Should have brought the forms on the day of the viewing and should have told us that we needed to complete asap. They should have returned our phone calls and emails. They kept us dangling for six weeks which we have lost when we could have been sourcing other property. Agents like this get other Agents a bad name. I would like to be reimbursed for the 460 mile trip and phone calls that I have had to make. Worst Agent ever.

Unfortunately, I have had to award this company one star. They are unprofessional Letting Agents but professional liars. We recently applied for a property to rent through this Newton and Fallowell. We travelled many miles to view the property having been assured of first refusal. When we arrived the Agent did not bring the necessary forms with him but assured us that "no-body else was viewing and " not to worry". There was no sense of urgency. This was on the Saturday on the Monday we called and sent email stating we wanted to apply for the property and could the necessary forms be sent. They where we sent by post and we sent them back the same day first class informing the Agent that we had done so. This would have been received by the Newton and Falowell on Friday. We heard nothing from Move with Us who would reference us. 6 weeks down the line we have just been told after numerous emails/calls to Newton and Fallowell with no response, that the property has gone and that they still carried out viewings and another applicants application had been processed on the Wednesday. It has taken all this time and us having to call Move with Us ourselves for answers - who where honest, polite and easy to get hold of despite the Newton and Fallowell telling us to the contrary. Newton and Fallowell have caused us severe problems as my husband has to move with work and I have a job offer. They are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with in many years of buying/selling and renting. Please avoid at all costs.
