1. they failed in explaining their vetting system in respect to not accepting income from investments. 2. To listen and acknowledge that they have failed to provide an acceptable standard of service and not make lame exscuses. To also acknowledge that we have been forced to move after only 6 months in this property as conditions are so bad. It would be impossible to stay here especially when the very long and expensive work is carried out to rectify all these issues, especially the rising damp. To offer some compensation to help with our relocation and acceptance of their failings.
Miller Countrywide is the largest lettings agent in the country and their fees appear to match their size. To pay so much for such atrocious service, to the point they were arrogant and rude. Toally uncaring in the way we were dealt with.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
