We first opened for business in January 1983, in Garforth, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Since 1983 our company has expanded. Mike Dobson Estate Agents now have branches in neighbouring Sherburn in Elmet, which opened in 1987 and Kippax in 1998.

I went with Mike Dobsons to sell my house. They were the most honest in setting a price, the friendliest team and I decided I was going with Mike Dobson's when I met Liz Pease. Liz was calm, professional and didn't push me to go with their firm. She understood my situation and let me make decisions that were right for me at the right time for me. As I was working from home, they understood that I was working and had work calls so asked me about my preferred method of communication and they emailed me so I could respond on lunch breaks. Megan and Andrea were especially helpful and I would recommend. Excellent customer service.

She spoke to me as if I was a child and bluntly offended my intelligence. The ladies up stairs in the letting department were so polite and welcoming, maybe the miserable one should retire or re train at customer relations. I won't be going back there !

Definitely huge mistake employing M Dobson. Did they maximise the potential & profit from my home 100% NO. There was lots of interest but Belinda managed this well. We were kept informed of all the visits and were not pressured to accept an offer until we were all happy.

ALL the team were fantastic throughout the process so I would (and do) recommended them to anyone that is thinking of selling a property in the Garforth area.
I have sold a number of properties with them in the last few months and each has been a very positive, friendly, and super helpful process.
For anyone thinking of going with a cheaper online experience, my advice is don't do it. The team have earnt their fee many times over and advised me when I would have made a less than favourable outcome.
