We moved into our rental on the 11 February 2022 to this date we have had very little assistance with repairs and the ventilation is non functional so we have the strong smell of cigarette smoke filling our flat daily after we signed a non smokers clause in our lease. I have had an impossible tenant. To say that my property was left in a state of disrepair would be a huge understatement. The condition of the flat was so exceptionally poor that I doubt anyone could imagine it or have seen anything like it in their lifetime.
You could sympathise, as a landlord, what turmoil I was going through. I found Austyn Green going through the entire process in the most calm and methodical process reassuring me ever step of the way.
Austyn was able to get all remedial works done swiftly through reliable and reasonable works contractors. He helped make the property tenable quickly and it has been let out again within the span of 45 days over the Christmas season.
This is why I have been with Leaders for more than 10 years as gestures like these require leadership at a personal level. It is assuming responsibility, going the extra mile, making it right and being a trustworthy partner .
My sincere appreciation to Austyn Greene and Leaders for being there for every step of the way. Thank you.

On the lettings side you have senior best in class letting agents like Kate Ostinelli , Sarah Staniford and other brilliant team members who search and vet the most reliable tenants in the market. It is then handed over to an equally capable property management team currently managing two of my properties in a reliable and worry free manner.
With this consistently positive experience, I have no hesitation in recommending the Leaders Woking team with 5 stars. Thank you!

Sevices are good and they are not faked like other agencies do by publishing something cheap they don't really have and when you call to tell you that this is gone but they can get you something similar at different price if course.
I guess it is up to the person you will deal with but Kate Ostinelli is your best choice.
She is quick with appointments, do not rush it at the viewings and arrange with great details with Landlords to replace or remove or repaint - whatever you need it - she will see it arranged.
The only problems are coming with those Lettings hub references as they are just grossly negligent people and can delay and disturb you a lot, but Kate sort it out for me.
So if you decide to go with Leaders - ask for Kate Ostinelli is my best advice.

Hundreds of pounds spent for accommodation until the property became available as well as for the storage, which I then have to move myself. Leaders did not care.

It took 2 months of continuous phone calls and emails to get the property into a liveable state. The property was dirty despite they claimed it had been professionally cleaned – something I reflected on check-in report. 2 months before they finally removed the shower screen which was broken and presented a health hazard, they clearly did not care.
After 3 months of insisting about a key into the utilities room, had to get a key cut from one of the neighbours. Seeing the lack of interest, responsiveness, professionalism and overall apathy, we realised that anything that needed done would have to be done by ourselves as Leaders did not care.
Although it is not Leaders responsibility, the lift did not work for 3 months. Not having the use of a lift with a baby is quite inconvenient and asked Leaders if they could help by also phoning the building management. They may have helped if they cared.
It has been an awful year living at this property (mis)managed by Leaders, and even on check-out had issues with them, as they tried keeping over 600 pounds from the deposit. After continuous delays, as expected from them, it was not until I mentioned taking them to Small Claims Court that TDS was involved and managed to get some of the deposit back. Following their overall attitude and ways of working, with continuous delays, it is not until February this year (left the property back in September), that we have managed to get our money back and feel I can finally close this dreadful experience which I would not recommend to anyone.
Given the amount of Estate agents in Woking, and the amount of properties available, it has been simple to find an alternative to Leaders. Hopefully, if enough landlords and tenants choose not to have to put up with Leaders, there may be a time when Leaders may start caring.
