A landlords agent. Refused to fix issues such as warped doors that wouldn't close (stating the landlord was happy with the situation because air would circulate throughout the property). Permanent condensation in broken double glazing. On moving in flat was dirty and not cleaned properly with ... Read Full Review

A landlords agent. Refused to fix issues such as warped doors that wouldn't close (stating the landlord was happy with the situation because air would circulate throughout the property). Permanent condensation in broken double glazing. On moving in flat was dirty and not cleaned properly with landlords rubbish still in cupboards. When I complained about two bin bags full of old coat hangers I was asked to “look after” them for the landlord.

Absolute shambles. Worst agents I have ever encountered. No communication between staff members. One member says something another says the complete opposite. Shocking service and the moving in process took far too long and the help they offered was next to nothing. Could barely ever get through to the office to talk to a member of staff. And most phone calls were "Let me check that for you and I'll call you back". This happened to me 3 times in one week and I never received a call back. Please I beg all of you to STAY CLEAR OF THESE AGENTS, I genuinely hope they go bust. If I could give a 0 rating I would.

I have dealt with several estate agents in moving on this occasion. Jess Slater was the most consistent person I met. She listened to my needs, suggested properties that I might consider and respected my financial limits. She kept in touch without being intrusive; confirmed and checked arrangements and met me in a timely fashion. Everywhere she suggested was a real possibility and it is only sad that another company finally came up with a property that completely fitted the bill as I would really have liked Jess to have benefitted. Would certainly turn to Leaders again in the future as a result of the her customer focussed attention. She was an excellent ambassador for the company.

As first-time landlords, we were looking for a stress-free letting for our property, and Leaders Surbiton certainly delivered the goods. Having wasted six weeks with a close competitor, we went to Leaders who had potential tenants lined up for us in a matter of moments. The staff at Leaders, particularly Helen, were very helpful and supportive during our recent (June-Aug, 2013) property search and move. My husband and I were in the position of moving out of our last flat, not because we wanted to, but because we had to (due to an aggressive neighbour), and Leaders were understanding and sympathetic regarding our ordeal. I would give them full marks (i.e. excellent), except that there was some incorrect information in our check in report which represented the property as professionally cleaned when it clearly was not (leaving us in an awkward situation with our new landlord who manages our flat). I assume this was an error or an oversight, as Leaders' conduct otherwise was impeccable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a property.

I have been using Leaders to manage my property in Surbiton for around 7 years. During this time, the service that has been provided has been excellent with limited invention required from myself which is very helpful due to me moving around Europe with my job. My property has been constantly let apart from the few days between tenants moving out and in. I have only had issues with 1 tenant out 7 which is again good as it is very important for the relationship I have with neighbours.

Having dealt with a number of letting agencies as a landlord, I can say without hesitation that Leaders are the best I have come across. The consultant I dealt with was fantastic. Friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, all the way from the first visit to the property being let out. I was able to achieve a fair rental price within a realistic timeframe. The fees paid are reasonable and are deducted on a monthly basis, which helps greatly with my cash flow.

I've used Leaders in Surbiton for 3 years, and recently also Leaders Walton. I am a landlord and they have always been very helpful and responsive in our dealings. I instructed Leaders to find a tenant for my flat in Surbiton. I found Amy Claydon and her team to be helpful and responsive; it was clear from the beginning that Leaders "know their market", and they provided me with a thoroughly professional service. Leaders were good at identifying the category/profile of a propesctive tenant, and having generated competing offers, they helped me select the best tenant for my flat. Administrative support provided by the Surbiton office up to the point of signing the tenancy agreement was efficient and problem free. I do not hesitate in recommending Leaders.

A very professional and complete team. Highly responsive and always happy to assist with issues. They have a very good local knowledge and we have been able to achieve the rentals they advised on over the last 4 tenancies. We have now used them for the last 2 years and they manage three of our propeties for us. They have found us excellent tennants and to date we have not had any issues with damages or no payment of rent. Highly recommend and a pleassure to deal with.
