Watch out for the fees from KFH - many of which are NOT highlighted within your Contract.

Watch out for the fees from KFH - many of which are NOT highlighted within your Contract.
For example, Cost for resigning a new lease agreement (via digital signature) cost was £210 last year.
Upon leaving my property before end of contract, I was charged £900 in fees, even though the property lost NO rentral income - it had new tenants taking over the day afterI handed over property.
This cost was all fees for KFH - and nowhere within my lease agreement were these specific fees highlighted. Just the usual 'ambiguous clauses' with no specific terms/amounts/time periods explained.

I have just been to check into my new flat in Chiswick, managed by KFH only to find the heating doesn't work, the cleaning was substandard with food debris still in the fridge and dishwasher, cupboards were left full of the previous tenants rubbish, a faulty sink plug in the bathroom, the living room blind lying on the floor and other issues. Very unhappy, if I could leave I would as this is clearly an indication of how my tenancy will be managed for the next few years. Am still to find a property agent in Chiswick which can live up to the standard of similar agencies in Hong Kong and Australia. 15/01/18. Despite the following reply from KFH nothing has been done and we have been without hot water since 11/01/17. All issues, up to twenty of them, remain outstanding. In over twenty years of renting in four countries this is our worst experience ever, including a developing country. I am a landlord in two countries and despite working full time, time zones and distances, I always ensure my tenants' problems are addressed within 24 hours. I also ensure my properties are clean and everything is in full working order before handing over to tenants. My properties are not just my investments, they are my tenants' homes and I treat them with respect. As someone who works on a daily basis with a large number of professionals and their families in the Chiswick area, I will not be recommending KFH. 25/01/18 So this is where we are at two weeks after moving in: Fixed: Debris left in cupboards has been collected Heating is now working Hot water is now working Heating is now connected in the second bedroom Still outstanding: Landlord's furniture has still not been removed Hot water timer is faulty Dishwasher is faulty Mixer taps in bathroom and kitchen are faulty and there is a problem with water pressure so it is difficult to wash dishes by hand Mixer tap in bath has come off Bathroom sink plug won't go up and down Bathroom window will not open to release steam Shower screen seal is old and brittle (as identified by check-in agent) and leaks water onto the floor Toilet seat needs replacing and toilet itself is loose Pilot light button is missing on hob Fridge bulb is not working Bottle shelf in fridge was cracked and as a result fell off smashing two bottles of housewarming champagne (don't feel like house warming anyway!) Living room blinds still uninstalled We still do not have a functioning key for the front entrance of the block Pipes under kitchen sink blew overnight and whole kitchen and kitchen cupboards flooded Added bonuses: TV antenna jack does not work No phone jack in the living area Have discovered the landlord is flouting a number of building management regulations Apparently we are waiting for landlord approval for all the outstanding issues. In my previous experience this has always been given within a forty-eight hour period, unless a request is unreasonable. However, checking everything was in working order before we moved in would have no doubt made a significant difference to our current situation. Lets see what the next two weeks bring.

I dealt with almost every estate agent in Chiswick when looking for a property to buy recently.

Some agents were good, some were terrible (Foxtons never, ever returned my calls), but Richard and Paul from KF&H were outstanding.
They were both really proactive. They understood exactly what I wanted and as soon as something came onto the market that was right for me, they were straight on the phone. Unlike most agents in Chiswick, I never had to chase them, not once.
They were both brilliant to deal with and clearly have their finger on the Chiswick property pulse. I felt that they were really on my side. They're probably the best at what they do in the area.

I had a very good valuation of the potential price of my property. The agency rate was very competitive and the office seemed small with staff who were keen to sell. I never felt pushed to sell at a certain level and was able to discuss the asking price with Paul. I was impressed by the photographs that were taken of my property. The one I did not like was removed on my request. I was amazed to receive offers within a few days and was able to accept an excellent offer and take my property off the market within 7 days placing it with the agency. Once the offer had been accepted I was contacted every week by KFH to update me on the progress of the sale. All the staff were positive, polite, enthusiastic and professional. Exchange and completion were achieved with no difficulties. I would recommend this office to anyone selling a property in the Chiswick area.
