This is an honest opinion from dealing with Keylet: Keylet is the KEY to a massive LETdown! This agency knowingly let out a flat with hostile & violent cotenants (the previous tenants had left after complaints). When the new tenants were forced to leave as well due to the abuse, Keylet refused to release them from their contract, neglecting their safety and wellbeing, and instead chose to demand rent for the months they were unable to live at the property and threaten with legal action. I advice to avoid if you can!

Many thanks to the team at Keylet In Cardiff for all their help in our recent move, and especially Cerys the sales administrator and also Chris the sales manager. They handled both our sale and purchase, and the sale went well, with excellent marketing that got a lot of interest. and we accepted an offer very quickly. The move though was very protracted, as it was was held up several times due to issues with the chain, but Cerys and Chris worked really hard to ensure that everything eventually went ahead and we could not be happier in our new home. What was particularly refreshing (and in huge contrast to our solicitors, who were frankly appalling), was that they communicated really well, were very pleasant and friendly and actually seemed to care. All in all, a really good service. Thanks again!

I rented an executive property with Keylet at the beginning of March and can honestly say that the keylet team went above and beyond to make my rental experience a good one.
As I have recently relocated to Wales I was a unaware of the local area etc to which Dan in the lettings department went out of his way to fill me in with all the good things to do, as well as recommend a lovely area to live.
Reading the reviews I see a mixed bag of opinions, however I can hand on my heart recommend the Keylet team to provide you with a property that will leave you feeling proud, secure and satisfied.
If I ever find myself wanting to move again I will be using the team at Keylet.

Terrible experience. I am never one to write a review but feel like I should warns others against using Keylet.
I have been renting in Cardiff for 5 years and have never experienced anything like this. It was a headache from day one and the staff are plain rude. I have been out the property for two months and still trying to get back my deposit back. Keylet have not provided a single photograph or invoice for their proposed deductions which include ridiculous charges. Now they are no longer responding to me. I have since found out that you can only raise a deposit dispute within three months of moving out so they are probably waiting for the clock to run out.
Avoid at all costs.

Disorganized, not even a drop of logic and coordination for managing a issue from A to B, the issue reporting website is useless, they do not read messages.
The most terrible experience of my life regarding tenancy management.
I do not imagine why landlords will pay incompetence.
From May I am waiting to have heat in my house.
For 2 weeks and a half I have no hot water neather because contractors competence. Is middle of November.
Keylet do nothing if I do not call. For them sending a contractor is job done, they do not follow.
I keep calling and all the answers are: "the contractor will come and fix"
Fix what if more then 10 people came and they do not know how.
I am not disappointed, is to less to say but really at my nerfs limit. I have a child in this house too.
I was more than very understanding. Train your staff

Be very careful when dealing with this agency. They will do barely anything for you, even though they will be asking for the fees to be paid in full (wasted money).
Always put everything in writing, ask for written confirmation for everything, record phone calls or live chats inside their offices.
If you have any problem with your house/flat remember that you have rights, MAKE them do what they're supposed to do (if you're not sure, check with the Citizen Advice Bureau).
I can only speak for the Cardiff Bay branch, I haven't dealt with the Cathays one.

Keylet have by far the best service in terms of keeping you abreast of latest developments and when someone has asked about the apartment etc whereas my experience of the competitors is that I don't hear from them from one month to the next and only hear if they have a positive enquiry.
This is not good enough as far as I am concerned as I want to know on a weekly basis how close my apartment is coming to be g rented out and Becky is great at dropping g me quick emails and keeping in touch keeping me informed.
I would always use key let in front of other agencies give en this superior service.

We have been with Keylet for several years now and the things I appreciate the most is are their responsiveness, communication and their ability to admit when they get it wrong.
With regards to responsiveness and communication, whether you phone or email, Keylet always respond quickly, if you have a question they always answer promptly, no problem is too big or too small.
As for getting it wrong, I had my water tank serviced and informed Keylet, two months later Keylet had it serviced again and invoiced me. When I pointed out that it has already been serviced and they were informed they refunded me the monies straight away, which I appreciated a great deal.
We like them so much that when we bought another flat we had no hesitation going with Keylet.

My flatmate and I are young professionals and mature students pursuing our PhDs. What this meant is that we needed a space that was conducive to writing and which made us feel at home (quiet, modern, furnished, affordable, stress-free). We were comprising our list of expectations until we came across Keylet Executive. Initially we were turned off by the agency fees and paperwork, as we were also migrant students, however when our washing machine broke down and Keylet Executive within less than a week replaced it with a brand new one simply with just one phone call, we appreciated more, having used an agency like Keylet Executive, that is responsive and efficient. This is notwithstanding that there is always space for improvement like, maintenance responsibilities should have included the jet washing of inside balconies before the change over in tenants or the inclusion of a flat screen TV and vacuum in the fully-furnished package or even leather bed frames instead of metal ones. As the present situation stands we love our apartment, so do our visitors! Keylet understood what we wanted and for the most part delivered it in real time! Keep up the good work Keylet Executive!

Stay away from this letting agent at all costs!
They are money grabbers who will over charge you for everything under the sun. they charge stupid extra amounts for invoices (i.e. printing out a sheet of paper), which must be using fancy ink i suppose by the astronomical prices.
they constantly added these petty fees and charge extortionate amounts for cleaning when you leave the property,
they have charged me over £100 for a cleaning job that will take about 30 seconds. they're trying to con me by charging for stains that were there when i moved in and avoid any hard questions that require a tough answer - very poor customer service.
they also failed to address any issues I raised, and the ones they do address they employ people who make a half arsed job at things and then give up when you continually nag them to fix the problem.
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!
