Our property has been extensively renovated. Zoopla does not know it has been renovated. Zoopla gives a price or 441k based on its 1960s decor and asbestos. Du pavey value it as 475k but cannot give any sensible reason why. Neighbour also updated is 100k higher. Within half mile I see that local ... Read Full Review

Within half mile I see that local agents, not just du pavey, parrot the zoopla mid price.
If you have done extensive improvements these agents will try to sell your property so that you have wasted your money.
Two stars because at least they try to discuss the price but are willing to lie.

I have recently sold my house through James Du Pavey Eccleshall and would like to say how pleased I have been with the service received start to finish. I would highly recommend anyone looking to sell their property to get in touch for a valuation as the team really does go above and beyond. Their selling strategy proves to be working and I can see why, I was always particularly impressed with the property write ups, I found when scrolling Rightmove I was drawn to James Du Pavey's properties intrigued to see what quirky opening lines they had come up with this time. The staff have been extremely enthusiastic and shown a real interest not only in selling my house, but helping me search for another. I was offered accompanied viewings for when I was unable to do them myself and was kept regularly up to date with interest levels. Having moved house a couple of times before I had always dreaded having to go through it again but when you have such a great team working with you it really takes the pressure off. Once again thank you to everyone in Eccleshall office and no doubt I will be in touch again when it comes to moving as there's no other agent that compares!

I'd like to take the opportunity in thanking James du Pavey and his team for what can only be described as excellent service from start to finish.
My wife and I were impressed as soon as Catrina turned up and began to talk us through the house selling process. The professional attention to all the little details about how to present the house to the original and quirky house description in the marketing details made us feel we had made the right choice.
Any issues during the process were swiftly resolved with a confident composure and we soon realised compared to other agents this company care about their clients and put the effort in to make the difference. It was that personal touch that impressed me as no matter which team member you spoke to they knew exactly what was going on and were there to help.
The house sold within days and we got the price that we wanted. What's more to say.

Realised I was lost so called the office to let them know I am trying to find it and to let the estate agent know I might be a few minutes late - finally found the property and was 6 minutes late - agent had already gone to next appointment - I was asked to hang around for 45 minutes or go and buy a coffee!
disgraceful attitude - wasted £40 in petrol - and six hours - thanks james du pavey!
