This is not an estate agency in the perceived definition. They are solely interested in commission. The staff have little knowledge at best, and what they dont know they invent. Rented a house! Very poor communication throughout! Weekend shop staff rude and uninterested! Be careful if you are renting. Ensure you take photographic evidence of things such as outer roofs as the company will attempt to take deposits for problems that were apparent when moving in!!! Do not... Read Full Review

Rented a house! Very poor communication throughout! Weekend shop staff rude and uninterested!
Be careful if you are renting. Ensure you take photographic evidence of things such as outer roofs as the company will attempt to take deposits for problems that were apparent when moving in!!!

As a land lord we trusted Hunters halifax to manage our property as we live in Australia. The halifax team were great but as soon as we signed up tenants we realised that the management is in bath which is at least 200 miles from our property. The bath office are extremely in professional in... Read Full Review

Bad agent fees when the landlord seems to do all the work
Comments (0)As a land lord we trusted Hunters halifax to manage our property as we live in Australia. The halifax team were great but as soon as we signed up tenants we realised that the management is in bath which is at least 200 miles from our property. The bath office are extremely in professional in dealing with us the client and the tenant. When it comes to dealing with maintenance they clearly have no local knowledge of the trades in area and the bills are extortionate. When the tenants vacated halifax hunters did a report showing things that needed to be done as damage and cleaning needed to be done. All the bath team did to regard these items was to forward my email to the tenant and vice versus, I actually had a family member threaten me on a social media site and hunters did nothing. If you want piece of mind management at your rental AVOID hunters and go for a more local agent.

At hunters you are just a number, all they care about is making money. I am glad to see the back of them.
