Hamptons are useless! Firstly they told us we couldn't sky but the property had all the connections for sky they said if we wanted cable tv it would have to be virgin. For the second time, I arranged to view a property with Hamptons but no one turned up. No phone call, and no apology? On the first occasion Nov 29th 2013, they failed to show. Second occasion June 14th 2014. Highly unprofessional. This is not rocket science, just basic service? Landlords and tennants should NOT use their lettings service.

During the transfer period of old tenants to new, I was kept completely in the loop at all stages of the marketing and contracting and felt fully involved without having to take any responsibility. At the same time a couple of maintenance issues appeared which needed to be dealt with. As this is a "managed let" - again I was kept fully informed, in a very timely manner, so that I could make the appropriate decisions - but all action was taken out of my hands. This support is particularly helpful as we are not based locally in the UK. Thank you Sam and Dawn.

I have been impressed overall with Hamptons (Cheltenham branch) in the 1.5 years I have let my flat out through them. I feel reassured that my concerns are taken seriously and that the staff really understand and appreciate the point of view of a landlord letting out their own home. It is as if they take as much care as they would if it was their own home. Of particular mention is Dawn Clarke who manages my property with great sensitivity and respect towards both me as the landlord and, it seems, towards the tenants. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hamptons if you really care about your property.
