The agents ensured that the process of buying the property went very smoothly. They were available and forthcoming will requests for additional viewings, with questions about the property and were extremely helpful in organising a clear and fair bidding process. The only negative is that they could have removed the for sale sign from the property sooner, once the sale had gone through, I had to ask a couple of times.

She was helpful, knowledgeable, willing to spend the time with me on all the details, an excellent teacher with her patience, and a nice person. She always responded quickly to my emails. She walked me through each step with clear explanations. I felt she really wanted to help me get settled. I was lucky to find a flat quickly and with her help I have been very happy to live here aand to enjoy all the aspect of life in London. I am extremely fortunate to be able to work with Alex Gibson and the David Andrew company in Stroud Green. They are amazing!

In my experience they are wholly unprofessional and charge extortionate fees for jobs that can be very simply and cheaply done by third parties, or are even unnecessary. For example, they attempted to charge £300 for us re-signing a contract: this involved changing the dates of a contract and re-signing it, which we could have (and offered to) do ourselves. In addition they ignore the terms of the tenancy agreement in favour of rules they seem to make up as they go along.
They are also completely unapologetic for their errors and negligence. Our deposit has been held from us long past the deadline stipulated in the contract, for reasons that are not in the contract, and because of their failure to recognise their mistakes we are having to go through the arduous dispute resolution process regulated by the company that holds our deposit. It is not surprising that David Andrew are familiar with this process.

Philip (together with Alexandra) worked brilliantly to secure exactly the outcome I needed from this new property. First, I was happy with the deal negotiated. We strongly believe that estate agent \'admin/checking\' fees are too high, are disproportionate and represent a grossly unfair extra charge to tenants (and is a practice that should be strictly regulated), however David Andrew\'s charges were slightly less than other agencies we looked at in the area.

This was my second time dealing with David Andrews, having sold a previous flat in Holloway with them a few years ago. They were excellent throughout both sales - most recently advising a realistic asking price, organising great photos, generating considerable interest at an open day for viewings (I think 40 viewings on the first Saturday), which resulted in 8 offers on the following Monday and subsequently an offer accepted by the Wednesday. John and the team were contactable throughout, advised on local suppliers for little things like electricity certificates and pushed to ensure the sale went through at a fast pace. Were I to sell again in the area I would actively seek them out and commission them again. They made the whole process painless and were very pleasant as well. 10/10 from me - no negatives at all.

We were extremely satisfied with the service we got from David Andrew, from start to finish. Throughout the sale process John was very good at keeping us updated, and always open to our views and suggestions. There were a high number of viewings generated in a short space of time, and various marketing techniques were adopted. He came across as having a very sharp and current knowledge of the local property market, and as a result was able to achieve a satisfactory sale price for us. He remained heavily involved in the process from offer to completion, which certainly kept things moving and reduced the uncertainty ans stress.
Certainly the best sales agent I have encountered to date.

He always managed to keep me informed as to potential tenants, works and so on. He managed to organise the necessary works to be done on my property for a reasonable price, which helped increase the rental income, he also managed to secure professional tenants in no time whatsoever.
I'd highly recommend Philip Chuku and would use David Andrews for renewal/future lettings.
