What agent could do to change your mind?
I thought the fees where a little steep considering the landlord pays you to maintain the property. I feel its like being charged to go into the supermarket!

It's been a great experience using them, and whilst the fees for tenants are on the high side they definitely provide a great level of service.
Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the N4 area.

What agent could do to change your mind?
I wouldn't say the fees were particularly low. But they do seem on par with other agencies. I wish the culture in the UK was more like North America-- where you let directly from an owner-- and weren't forced to pay fees at all. Considering how hefty the deposits are here (heftier than in North America) addition fees for background checks seem redundant. A credit check for 35 pounds seems reasonable. Charging 140 pounds for a copy of someone's ID and a form is a bit steep.

Excellent experience. We were purchasers and so not directly clients as such. However, David Raja did a really good job in helping us to find two properties for family members in a pretty hectic market, where it was highly competitive. David was always charming and reliable, good to deal with and did what he said he would do. One purchase was getting difficult towards the end and David and his colleagues did their best to avoid it falling over, so that was appreciated too. I think the office knows its market intimately and we are also having a good experience in now letting one of the flats we bought. I would recommmend David highly.

My partner and I were really pleased with the service we received from David Andrews. We had previously listed our property with another agent and had no luck but as soon as we moved to DA, the whole process got moving very swiftly. DA are experts in the area, know how to sell a property in their area and know a lot of the local buyers in the area. DA managed our expectations well in terms of the price we could get for our property which resulted in a quick offer at a good price. The process was not always easy, as with all share of freeholds and top flat Victorian properties but Rachel did a great job in steering the ship through to completion. She was fantastic at stakeholder management keeping me, the seller, as well as the buyer and the other owners of the share of freehold up to date and moving in the right direction. And on the dark days (which there inevitably are when moving house), she kept our spirits up and focussed on the bigger picture. I would really recommend Rachel as an agent for her no nonsense approach and dedication to getting the sale through!

First of all, David Andrew has a very good selection of properties in North London. Then Rachel who dealt wit us proved to be an amazing agent in the whole process: she really knew her stuff about the flat and once the buying process was engaged, she was great at coordinating with the vendor, so we managed the complete the purchase quickly and smoothly, with minimum stress. I have just completed on a property. I did not have any recommendations of any agency apart from where NOT to go. This seems to be the general attitude towards agencies.
However, after having a series of frustrating experiences with more than 8 agencies around North East London over a period of 8 months, my dealings with Ms R Baker on behalf of David Andrews was a relief.
Ms Baker was transparent, honest and available to discuss progress at any time on any day. I managed to transfer funds, exchange contracts and complete within 7 days. There were no bidding wars, no back tracking on what had been said on the part of the vendor and I felt that I was safe once my offer had been accepted. Being able to trust in someone is the most important thing as one is not safe until exchange of contract which can be 2 months down the line.
