Over the years Daniel Cobb was the jewel of agents in the area, extremely professional. However I feel the more recent younger recruit .. Seweryn and Henry should not be Public facing .We had the worst experience ever received here, unprofessional and rude. Such a shame. Unlikely to use them... Read Full Review

Over the years Daniel Cobb was the jewel of agents in the area, extremely professional. However I feel the more recent younger recruit .. Seweryn and Henry should not be Public facing .We had the worst experience ever received here, unprofessional and rude.
Such a shame. Unlikely to use them again. We now have so many more professional agents next door and across the street who know how to speak to their Customers. I took the day off to view a property had appointment at 9.30am to told informed once we got there the tenant was in the second bedroom in a meeting he would not open the door. Wasting my valuable time.

Really bad experience, informed about a change in the move in -date less than 12 hours before the original move and the change was by two weeks, we had already switched all utilities to the new property and therefore had to survive without water, wifi and electricity for two weeks. Really bad experience, informed about a change in the move in -date less than 12 hours before the original move and the change was by two weeks, we had already switched all utilities to the new property and therefore had to survive without water, wifi and electricity for two weeks.
When we called the estate agent at the Kennington branch, they were very unprofessional and disrespectful on the phone. They blamed us on everything and shouted at us. After all, we never received a proper apology either.
Moreover, there were many other issues the estate agent didn't inform us about but when asked about it, he claimed to have sent multiple emails and being in contact with us, which he hasn't done.

In brief - rented a property from this office for 2.5 years and received terrible service at both ends of the rental period (i.e. whenever I had to interact with Daniel Cobb staff).
It started in the run-up to us making an offer on the property as the agent was calling me every hour to chase me on offer details/changes. Despite saying several times that during the day if I do not pick up the phone it is because I am busy with work and would call back at the first opportunity. Once our offer had been accepted we simply did not hear from the agent anymore which delayed our move-in date...
We did not have any issues during the tenancy and therefore did not have any contacts with Daniel Cobb.
After having left the property and agreed a rental deposit deduction with the landlord, we supplied our required written confirmation immediately. Having waited for a month after this agreement and not heard anything from the daniel cobb I found out that our agent had not been chasing the landlord's confirmation (admittedly for personal reasons which I understand, however talking to staff on the phone did not resolve any of this). I then had to chase the landlord myself, and when finally highlighted the inconvenience of daniel cobb not processing the deposit refund and simply ignoring us I was told that they had been waiting for my confirmation (which they had acknowledged receipt of a month before) and ended up simply being put on out-of-office auto-response after showing that this was in fact not the case.
Once again there were no major issues during the tenancy, but if you are looking for good customer service look somewhere else.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Called or emailed me to inform me they were doing viewings on this property.

After no hearing anything back from them, I rang up again 6 days later to ask if there had been any progress and was told the viewings had already been held and there were to be no more viewings.

We booked a viewing for 09:00 so we could view the property right before work. On previous day agent said that we should show up at 08:50 so that we would be the first to see the place (since another couple booked was booked for 09:15).
Not only the agent showed up 25 minutes late (at 09:15) he also greeted the second couple as if we weren't even there!
He treated us in a really poor way and he didn't even say sorry for being late.
