when i raised concerns to the landlady she took matters into her own hands and caused damage to my vehicle when i challenged this with her she seemed very guilty and it ended up costing me a lot of money to repair my vehicle this happened on more than one occasion very upsetting and difficult... all they are interested in is money very rude staff in the office. since i have lived in the property im in now 2 people have claimed they paid deposits the same time i did and were moving in to the property when i challenged connells they tried to keep me quiet by telling me everything was dealt with. ongoing investigation still in progress. i also complained about issues within the property that i wasnt happy with a letter with improvements was provided to the landlords over 2 months ago nothing has been dealt with and when i complained they became more vile and told me i had to collect my electricity tokens from the main office ... very nasty spiteful people

Terrible communication. Customer service is non existent. Never keeps you updated (the customer has to do all the chasing and they never call you back). I would never recommend Connells in Yeovil, use a different agent or... Read Full Review

Connells Yeovil are much more like a cold direct sales company, they are *, intimidating, compulsive liars and completely unprofessional! They ** play you to stop you from purchasing a property, if you do not want to use their broker!! We are just two first time buyers who have worked very hard to save up a good deposit and fell in love with a house that we really thought was ours when the vendors accepted our offer - little did we know that Connells was doing everything in their unsightly power to stop us from purchasing the house! They pretended that we had to give them our passports, mortgage illustration, payslips, bank statements etc etc until they could actually say it was officially under offer (even though we had already got out mortgage all sorted with Lloyds), we were told LIES after LIES about them communicating with the vendors which they weren't at all and were telling them that we apparently couldn't afford the property!!!! Then once someone else came along who were willing to use their broker, they straight away took the property off of the market and didn't even contact us to let us know that our dream house had been sold to someone else!!

They said it was quiet, thick walled an suitable for professionals. Took £500 worth of fees and it's not lovable because you can't even get decent sleep

Moved into apartment, boiler broken, no hot water for 4 weeks. 16 weeks later intermittent hot water, after 8 weeks of being messed about I was told to organise the maintenance myself....boiler fixed within 24 hours. 16 weeks later intermittent hot water, after 8 weeks of being messed about I was told to organise the maintenance myself....boiler fixed within 24 hours.
Estate agents agreed date I moved out the property, back room staff then * me for rent when property was empty (small print para 22.1)

This company is not a estate agent, it's more like a aggressive direct sales company. Basically if you don't take your mortgage out with them, forget any house you see advertised by them. This company is not a estate agent, it's more like a aggressive direct sales company. Basically if you don't take your mortgage out with them, forget any house you see advertised by them. They are not interested in you. Their constant repetitive hard sell for their own mortgages makes them sound like a stuck record. I made a offer on a house, but someone made a higher offer. They rang me to tell me. Ok, fair enough. But then they rang again asking if I wanted to put in a higher offer. I didn't realize that this was auction!!!! Then they rang me and told me I had to come down and sit in front of their mortgage advisor to prove my deposit, mortgage. They are a JOKE. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ESTATE AGENT.
