I wish I had looked up reviews before handing over money to this company! I paid a holding deposit, when this fell through I spent a month chasing my money. Sent it circles and fed lie, after lie. Even the manager I spoke to at one point was of no use! It was only when I wrote a letter of complaint ... Read Full Review

I wish I had looked up reviews before handing over money to this company! I paid a holding deposit, when this fell through I spent a month chasing my money. Sent it circles and fed lie, after lie. Even the manager I spoke to at one point was of no use! It was only when I wrote a letter of complaint and told them I will be notifying the ombudsman, that my money was returned! Steer clear! I'm not one to leave reviews but I don't want anyone to go through the stress I did, at an already stressful time!

Connells surveyors dont have a clue about house prices, down valued our house by £200k, meaning we were 2.5% over the target LTV and cost us £200 per month? The local professional and knowledgeable agents all valued the house £200k higher, this valuation, is so low, it almost feels dishonest, just... Read Full Review

Connells surveyors dont have a clue about house prices, down valued our house by £200k, meaning we were 2.5% over the target LTV and cost us £200 per month? The local professional and knowledgeable agents all valued the house £200k higher, this valuation, is so low, it almost feels dishonest, just so the Building society can charge more interest. Avoid like the plague if you can.

Very disappointed with this estate agents. They started off very helpful, returned calls, returned emails etc then once we exchanged on our property they didn't want to know. Very disappointed with this estate agents. They started off very helpful, returned calls, returned emails etc then once we exchanged on our property they didn't want to know. All of a sudden we got no response to our emails whatsoever and no call backs and if you did manage to get to speak to someone who knew what they were doing you could tell by the tone of their voice that you were just a nuisance to them. We definitely won't be using them again.

Having had my full asking price offer accepted on a 2 bed flat, I was surprised to be treated with an increasing lack of courtesy by the estate agent as the process did not move at the speed she had obviously promised the... I was disappointed with the level of service I received from Connells. Having had my full asking price offer accepted on a 2 bed flat, I was surprised to be treated with an increasing lack of courtesy by the estate agent as the process did not move at the speed she had obviously promised the vendor. Even though we were still comfortably within the timeline the agent had set, she seemed not to want to keep the sale going, and instead informed me - after the fact - that the flat was back on the market. I withdrew from the purchase and instead bought another flat in the same block through a different agent. I don't like being mucked around, and Connells definitely mucked me around. Given how many estate agents there are in Horsham, luckily I don't need to use them again.
