The team at Connells in Hitchin overall did a great job with our house sale and chain. We had a bumpy ride due to completing the end of a chain which had been in place since the beginning of the year. The guys did a great job of pushing everything through in a really constrained time period and we genuinely feel had they not been involved the chain would have collapsed. Communication was good after a few stumbling blocks with our first buyer who we ended up having to pull the property from, and a delay in sorting our EPC. The second time we sold we were kept in the loop at all stages. We had what appears from our point of view to have had some very difficult people within our chain (even reducing some staff members to tears through their attitudes) and we can only imagine how this could have impacted the service we received, but it didn't. For this reason and for all the hard work one specific team member at this branch Louisa put in, we dropped off a little thank you. We were happy with how everything panned out in the end and we would recommend this branch.

What a horrendous experience we have had with this branch. Lied to us the whole way through our purchase, constantly having to be chased and they never returned our calls. Our experience of Connells was excellent in all respects. In the first instance Paul Bonney was extremely efficient at doing the viewings and was instrumental in achieving a quick, full price sale. We were impressed that information on our sale was shared with all Connells' staff which led to excellent communication and continuity at all times. The star of Connells for us was Beth Corcoran who went well above the call of duty to ease those pre 'exchange of contract' nerves. She was there for us even outside of office hours if we had any concerns or questions and on the day of exchange she pulled out all the stops to ensure that the chain was completed within the timeframe. Well done to all at Connells!
