Very friendly and helpful until you sign the contract and land in their claws.
They don't care about their tenants, they won't reply to emails for weeks despite multiple reminders, don't care about damage caused by their negligence or about their tenants struggling during a pandemic, slapping them with late fees.
Please avoid!

Unfortunately our experience of 1 Stop Letting has been awful, I might add I'm a tenant not a landlord. They seem to be very much orientated around the landlords and tenants are less of a priority.
We've lived in one of their properties for a little over a year, 7 months of which we have had to live with a split bath with water running through the kitchen ceiling and down the wall. After numerous requests to have the problem fixed it still remains.
We have kept our side of the bargain, paying the rent on time and looking after the house but we have been, and still are, being let down by 1 Stop Letting and in particular Eirian, the owner, who constantly makes excuses or tells us the work will get 'done this week' but nothing happens.
My advice would be stay away from 1 Stop Letting and go with one of the more established letting agents in Aberystwyth like Lloyd, Herbert and Jones who, compared, are excellent.

I was on the verge of selling my flat until 1 Stop Lettings was recommended to me. This was due to the issues that had developed with other letting agents in the town who did not provide a service to the level I expected, costing me thousands of pounds over the preceding years.
Eirian was a breath of fresh air, coming from a solid background in Aberystwyth property she has now set up her own business which, in my opinion, stands head and shoulders above the competition. Always available she has taken virtually all the stress out of being a landlord. We talk regularly but if I hear nothing for a few weeks then no nagging doubts start to creep in, regular monthly statements arrive and any additional expenses are meticulously recorded and justified; tax returns are now much easier.
I trust Eirian and 1 Stop Letting enough that I have chosen to invest further in Aberystwyth on the grounds that I have an agent I can trust, despite living two hundred miles away.
To summarise, as a Landlord I can certainly recommend 1 Stop Lettings as an agency to trust in Aberystwyth.
