The problems started with the photos, description and the floor plan which in our opinion were diabolical and had to be redone seceral times. The agent could have worked for us instead of the buyer. She should have encouraged other prospective buyers to come round instead of stopping them. Potentially we could have sold our house for more money instead of accepting 20,000 less than the asking price. it begs the question whether she is getting paid by the buyer as well as the seller.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
