I am a property owner at Franklin Court, Borehamwood, and have been dealing with ABC Estates since 2018 regarding my service charge. Over the years, the service charge has more than doubled, and I have repeatedly encountered unexplained additional fees. Most recently, after clearing all outstanding charges in 2024, I set up regular payments to stay current. Despite this, I have been told I owe more, with no clear explanation provided. Contacting Declan Mullarkey, my point of contact at ABC Estates, has been extremely difficult. Emails go unanswered, and phone calls are rarely returned. Today, when I requested my service charge balance, I was informed that the email I used does not match their records, meaning I have not received any reminders. This has resulted in further unnecessary fees being added. Overall, my experience with Declan and the ABC Estates team has been unreliable and frustrating, and I have concerns regarding the transparency and honesty of their service.
