2 Sept 2025First time buyer here! Nothing but good things to say about Central Estates in Walthamstow and their team. Harry was a joy to deal with from the start, the house buying process can have many ups and downs and after a previous sale falling through and dealing with another local agent who saw me and my partner as just a sale rather than a person Harry and Central Estates restored our faith in the industry. It felt like a two-way transaction where both the buyer and seller were considered in equal measure, the viewing agents at Central were always friendly, honest and punctual. At a time where the market was moving incredibly quickly it was easy to get lost among the hundreds of other buyers, but with Central it never felt like we were just another buyer. Harry and the team were always super responsive via email and phone calls and facilitated all of our requests prior to completion. We used Cavendish Legal who partner with Central which meant a pretty swift transaction, especially when I hear the horror stories of friends regarding response times etc. The property was tenanted until about a month before completion and despite that they still managed to facilitate a couple extra viewings with no issues. When we asked to renegotiate due to material discoveries on our homebuyers survey, our request was understood and communicated by Katie and Ella in the sales progression team to the seller and middle ground was found. A stark contrast to our previous experience of another local agent where we were guilt tripped and told our requests were unreasonable. Thankfully that sale didn’t progress and we landed on our feet ultimately finding a flat with so much more room and potential. Shout out also to Katie and Ella as they were always on hand to ensure the sale progressed consistently and a point of contact for us and I'm sure the seller to make sure things kept moving along to exchange and completion. In summary, put it this way - If we ever look to buy or sell, we'll be calling Central Estates first for sure. Thanks Team!
