Chose to go with Starkey and Brown having approached several estate agents. Selling our late parents family home. Buyer was found and offer accepted then everything ground to a halt. Whilst I don't hold Starkey and Brown solely responsible for all the delays I feel that there was no urgency in pushing solicitors on either side. Surely it's as much in their interest to move the sale as quickly as possible. Angie was the only person involved who gave any helpful information and whilst I can appreciate her frustration with the solicitors involved it took an ultimatum from me of

27 Nov 2024Hi David, just to address your concerns that you have addressed within your review. Looking at your file, I can see we had several delays throughout the transaction with the property being unregistered title, incorrect title plans, solar panels etc. These are all issues dealt with by a solicitor and are out of an estate agent's control. I can see Angie took good care of you and kept you updated throughout the process. I'm pleased it all went through OK for you in the end.
