Apartment Wharf

Update on the original review dated 5 Aug 24: Apartment Wharf continue to accept no responsibility for the miscommunication that resulted in their property being inaccurately advertised, & insist that current tenants of the properties they manage are entirely responsible for the content & accuracy of listings advertising Apartment Wharf property. On 1 Aug 24 they threatened me with a defamation suit for the factual review I posted. As they're clearly aware this was a baseless threat, without foundation in reality, i've heard no more about legal action. On 13 Aug 24 I requested they state definitively what they believed the inaccuracies in my review were, & coming as no surprise, two weeks on they are yet to provide this information. One single positive update to provide is that within a week of posting of my original review i'd received a full refund of all funds paid to Apartment Wharf. This is the one & only positive thing to report about this company, **everything** else is negative.

Further to my comment update of 27 August above, on 5 October I gave Apartment Wharf one final chance to detail they inaccuracies they believe I had included in my review of them (they never bothered to respond to my request of 13 August), & even though they did respond this time they blatantly lied & did not even bother to read my review of 5 August & the comment update on 27 August before responding to my email (unsurprising, seeing as they do not even bother to read the adverts for their own properties either). They insisted the “listing stated a two-month tenancy term, with short lets.” which is a deliberate lie. The screenshot of their own property listing I sent them on 29 July showed the listing was for a minimum of two months, no maximum term, but with “short lets considered”. They clearly have no problems with lying. This sets the tone for the remainder of the points they made, at no point where they remotely aware of the listing advertising their own property (they leave it to the tenant to do their job for them by the looks of it), seemingly believing there was no issue with the incorrect listing because they had included alternate information elsewhere, they inexplicably put the onus on me to be absolutely sure the listing for their own property was correct, & they insisted I had not included information relating to the refund of my payments to them in my review when to anyone with eyes who can read would have seen I unambiguously had stated what I had received & when in my review & comment update. Key takeaways, Apartment Wharf are a deeply unprofessional & inept organisation who clearly lie & employed the use of baseless threats of legal action as an intimidation tactic to coerce the removal of my entirely factual review of their organisation.
