Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
Complaints Procedure
There are two resident partners in the business, one of which predominantly deals with lettings, the other with sales. Should their be a complaint in relation to lettings, the sales partner will deal with the matter accordingly and vice versa. All written complaints will be acknowledged in writing within 24 working hours and responded to in writing 7 working days. Burghleys are voluntary members of The Property Ombudsman Scheme. In the unlikely event that a complaint cannot be resolved, the complainant can request that The Ombudsman take their complaint further.
