My experience with ABC has been horrendous and I definitely advise you to stay away from them. We attempted to take control of the Residents Management Company (as anticipated by our leases out at the outset). Richard Davidoff repeatedly resisted our attempts to become members of the management company. We eventually had to make an application for Right to Manage which Richard Davidoff disputed, forcing us to take the matter to the First Tier Tribunal. The whole matter has unnecessarily cost us £1,550.00 to date. He made an unsolicited phone call to me which he explained was 'off the record' saying that he would accept our Right to Manage claim but only if we withdrew our ongoing First Tier Tribunal service charge challenge. During this 'off the record' phone call, Richard himself stated that we would acquire the Right to Manage at any event but it would cost us £10,000 in legal expenses if he continued to dispute it. I found Richard Davidoff's 'off the record' phone call to be extremely underhand and unethical. I saw this as an attempt by Richard Davidoff to prevent us from exercising our rights under the law. ABC is to be avoided at all costs.
