HORRENDOUS Company to deal with, utterly incompetent and misinformed staff. I'd much rather eat the contents of a Colostomy Bag than deals with these clowns again in the future. Went in to discuss why they had taken multiple holding deposits on a property that one of my family members had seen, and then despite all of her checks coming back ok they informed her that the property had gone to someone else who put down a holding deposit, which is infact, under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, illegal..... quite simply illegal, but the morons in the office seem oblivious to this. Maybe read page 33 here when you have 5 minutes: https://www.tenancydepositscheme.com/resources/files/TFA_Guidance_for_LandlordsAgents.pdf When presented with the information that i printed off i was met with the quite hilarious comment from someone who clearly is just doing his job part time before joining the circus later this year: "Yeah thats just a piece of paper".......Yeah.... from Gov.uk.... you know.... just a small website eh? Anyway, they way they conducted themselves when presented with the fact they were doing something ILLEGAL was just comical, I kind of feel sorry for whoever has to deal with the people in that office, they are complete wet lettuces. Anyway, for future reference, both The Property Redress Scheme, the Local Citizens Advice Bureau, Shelter.org.uk, AND my local Estate Agent informed me that this is infact illegal and they shouldn't be doing it. Oh and plus they continued to advertise the property after the holding deposits of 3 People had been put down. ALSO illegal based on the Tenants Fees Act 2019. Utter Morons and I strongly urge no'one to deal with this shoddy company .

20 Nov 2019Hi Eddy, I'm sorry you feel you need to "not recommend" our services however you were clearly told when you visited our premises that your sisters application was not the first application and therefore your holding fee would be refunded. This has been done promptly and we even offered you alternative properties on a prioritized basis, this however seems to be not enough but may I ad we didn't have to do this! You state the property was still advertised once a holding fee had been paid, you are wrong and no further viewings were conducted, as you are fully aware the property was tenanted and an open morning was arranged to avoid huge interference with the current tenant. The particular words you have used above are merely offensive and not humorous in the slightest, what do you think anyone with a colostomy bag would think when reading this? Did anyone in our shop get personal and call you a clown or a wet lettuce? You have been advised or our complaints procedure and all complaints will be investigated fully.

I have changed letting agents to G&T Letting Agents as my last agent was charging ridiculous amounts for everything and hardly left me any rent every month. With G&T their charges seem to be fair in comparison.
