Moving house is meant to be the most stressful event in your life along with getting married and, if you are unlucky, divorced. In our situation this was not the case largely due to the service and support provided by Fine and Country (F&C). We came across F&C during the early stages of our house search, the point at which you have started looking but haven't really done much else such as put your own house on the market. After finding an initial property being sold by F&C we moved on to another house in our perfect location and immediately put in an offer. At this point we were all set to put our own house on the market with Purple Bricks, the online agency, but were impressed by the service provided by Reuben and his team during the search that we decided to put our faith in F&C as we needed a quick sale to then secure our dream move. To say this paid off would be an understatement, F&C had our house on the market within days of instruction, ensured that our price point was on the mark and managed the viewing process without issue. Within the first week we had two viewings booked one of which ended up buying our house. We could not have asked for a better outcome. As with all moves we hit a few bumps in the road including funding issues on our buyers side and further negotiations post building survey all of which were managed professionally and fairly by F&C with our interests at heart. Furthermore, on the purchase of our new home we also hit issues mainly around the valuation of the property. F&C assisted by talking to our sellers agent and helping smooth the road to a successful conclusion. I fully appreciate that there is commission in the form of fees to be paid but the way in which F&C managed the whole process including, at times, an overzealous buyer and an overanxious seller (me) says as much about their ability to work with people as it does the actual sales process. On both counts F&C were exemplary going above and beyond our expectations. To this point we were more than happy to pay the sales fee as it was well and truly deserved. This is something I can honestly say have not experienced with other estate agents. I would not hesitate in recommending F&C. Thank you!
