I'm not a big fan on providing negative feedback and I'd like to point out that everyone we dealt with was personable, polite & friendly. However, I was frustrated with the process. I understand that we may not have been the most profitable clients but that shouldn't impact service. Especially from a brand as strong and reputable as Country Properties. Central to this is lack of knowledge on the properties we viewed. Basic questions were not answered at the time and weren't answered despite the promise of 'getting back to us'. We got the impression that they didn't really know a lot about the flats/houses we viewed. Far more interested in getting us through the door, paid up and in the house. Treated more like a crop than a prospective tenant. The only questions that could be answered directly is; how much the weekly rent and admin fees were. We also found it quite frustrating in the number of people we had to deal with. I understand it's a big process but we have dealt ten different people. I still don't know my main point of contact for management. It's not been made clear, I thought it was Rebecca but I sent her an email last week and Teresa replied. Wouldn't normally be an issue, however, we would like to be communicated and made aware. 'Rebecca is your main point of contact but Teresa may be jumping in to help out'. The above has meant that I have been the one chasing to have questions answered and a lot of the time, they weren't answered directly. It's been arduous. I would not be recommending Country Properties, although we're very happy with the house we rented and the standard the landlord upholds it to.
