I personally liked peach properties staff but my experience with them was bad and since i chose them on the basis of previous reviews I feel obliged to inform other landladies and landlords of what happened. The tenants that peach properties found for my flat which they highly recommended started by not paying the first month of rent apparently to protest against mismanagement. Such rent was not paid until the end of the letting which happened just after one year. One of the tenant was also quite abusive and when I returned the flat, I found that the bottom half of my new kitchen was ruined and badly fixed - expert opinion certified that it had been eaten by a dog which they kept on the property. The damage was not picked up by the inventory company that they chose, so no money was claimed from the deposit to fix it. The inventory company did not pick up on missing items of furniture either such as carpets, coffee tables etc but charged tenants for other items which the agents themselves had removed from the flat at the beginning of the tenancy. The contractors they used to fix some water damage did a bad job overall ruining the newly redecorated walls. Finally when I asked them to put the flat on sale, they showed the flat in such a bad shape that I only got offers for much lower amount and had to pull the flat out of the market for redecoration postponing the sale by several months. When I confronted them with this evidence, they basically blamed it on my lack of supervision of the whole process. I would thus say that if you choose this company you either need to live locally or to be able to closely supervise them, because these kind of mistakes can be very costly! They certainly cost me a lot! For all of this they offered me a 100 pounds refund from the inventory company and they waived the fees for the failed sale. My losses amounted to kitchen redecoration, loss of rent for several months and a delayed sale.
