In two minds about using a 'cheap and cheerful internet agent' or Taylor Cole? Please read this... I appreciate that nobody wants to use negative comments against their competitors, but I would not want any other seller to go through the experience both ourselves and our vendors have had to endure recently. I am hugely grateful for the assistance Taylor Cole have provided and for the efforts they have put in rather than those of my own appointed Estate Agents. Let me start by saying that never has a truer word been spoken than you get what you pay for" when selecting the estate agent. If it wasn't for our seller choosing to use Taylor Cole to market their property, the whole chain would have collapsed and we would all have been thousands of pounds out of pocket. Our agent, Purple Bricks, were nowhere to be seen throughout the post-sale process, and if it wasn't for Taylor Cole coordinating the various legal teams and assisting in communication between various buyers and sellers we would have lost not only our dream home, but our sanity as well. Jonathan almost became my own estate agent, and thankfully he was always willing to help. You can never under-estimate the benefit of having connections with other estate agents in the chain, and the related solicitors in the Tamworth area. You need to have someone that will keep their eye on the ball, and not just treat you as a case-number". I started by saying you get what you pay for", but my experience with internet selling was even worse. I would not recommend Purple Bricks as your estate agent, and why I would not hesitate to use Taylor Cole in the future. Selling a house is a wonderful thing, but the journey to completion is always harder than you think.
