It is a lively East Anglia market town located eighteen miles North West of Cambridge. It lies on the banks of river Great Ouse. As first time buyers my partner and I were relatively lost and found it rather daunting when it came down to buying our property & looking for the right mortgage that suited our needs. The first noticeable thing when arriving to set up our mortgage meeting with Andrew (through Thomas Morris) was how friendly and welcoming all member of staff were. We were made to feel at home and not pressured by a single soul. When we arrived for the meeting Andrew was extremely helpful and honest with how he explained how mortgages work and what was the ideal one for us. After our short meeting Andrew had contacted us with some information about the mortgages and sent through some details we might of need of we were to choose a different broker. My partner and I decided a good three / four weeks later that we were going to return to Andrew and set our mortgage up as we'd seen (forgive me but I can't remember the name of the lovely lady whom showed us around the property but she was a very warming and helpful person) and been accepted on the property we loved. Within roughly a week our mortgage had been accepted Andrew was more than happy to answer any queries my partner or I had and responded extremely quick to my emails (some emails were in the late evening too). After all the mortgage went through and Andrews job was complete then we came across Joe. He's helped us out with all the information we needed to fill some forms out, understanding of other information and kept us well informed on the progress of our purchase. Joe's a very well mannered and spoken young man who we would deal with again and again. We also came across two glorious woman writhing Thomas Morris' Convayency team. Emily & Alicia. We spoke to Emily more than what we did Alicia but both ladies were a great help. All questions we and instructions we'd asked of them were responded to within good timing. Alcoa had filled in for Emily when she was on annual leave and it seemed as if we'd been dealing with her from the start. She filled in perfectly and was excellent at informing us of or situation. When the contracts were exchanged both Alicia and Joe called us to congratulate us which was very warming!!! If we're totally honest there isn't anything we would change during our procedure of purchasing our first property. Everyone we dealt with were efficient / well spoken / easy to talk to / understanding / well mannered / friendly / helpful individuals. An exceptional TEAM in all areas!!!! I would recommend Thomas Morris to anyone, my friends and family all know how well we've been treated and I hope that when they come to purchasing a house they use Thomas Morris just like my partner and I have. Thank you everyone at Thomas Morris for making our experience stress-free and very pleasant! We will definitely be back to purchase a property in the future.
