We were advised by the solicitor who was dealing with my father's estate to get 3 valuations for his house and then to choose the middle valuation. Phil came to view the house snd spent about an hour with us, discussing a number of options that we could try. He was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. In addition he was very patient with me and took his time to explain things clearly. The business of disposing of my childhood home was made much less painful because of Phil's approach. My husband and I both felt that he cared about getting us the best price for the house in as speedy and efficient way as possible. Although his was the highest valuation of the property we decided to go with Simmons, simply because of the way we'd been treated. We trusted him. The house was put on the market and we were kept informed at every step. The house sold within a week at �5000 more than the asking price. By this time Neil Campbell was dealing with the sale. Once again he was efficient, thorough and proessional and made the whole business as painless as could be. Neil had to deal with me, (I live in the North East of England), my sister who lives abroad and our lawyer (offices in GerrardsCross) All communication was clear and informative. Apart from the fantastic, personal service we had, I am particularly pleased with the speed with which the whole transaction was completed. The new owners are now living in my father's house. They seemed to be thrilled with their purchase. I hope that they are as happy there as my father was after living in it for over 56 years. I woul recommend Simmons to anyone who wants to buy or sell property in the Slough area. Maybe I'll come back one day; I will certainly call on the Simmons team to help me buy a property!
