"I feel" ripped off, lied to, and treated like dirt. When I moved in to my apartment I was not told of all the additional charges that were in the tenancy agreement until I had paid, moved out of my old apartment and was moving in to the new one. They won't tell you about the rip off charges until you have paid your 6 week deposit and first month rent and there is no going back at that point, then "they started ripping me off and lieing. Here are a few below.
if you lose your key it's £130 + VAT
£35 plus VAT for any follow up letters, (not quite sure which of the royal family are writing these letters at the price of £35.)
£75 plus VAT for any follow up inspections
Postal redirections £15 + VAT
Late payment of rent £75 plus VAT then £25 a day!! after that
£25 per day for late invoice payments
£35 plus VAT for calling them out of hours
end of tenancy clean £153 + VAT if you go on google you can get an end of tenancy clean done for £53, basically £100 of your money is going in their back pocket. When I moved in to my apartment there was still food in the fridge from the previous tenant, it was disgusting, the cleaner had done only a 1 hour clean, I had to threaten legal action just to get the apartment cleaned 2 days after I'd moved in. I asked the cleaner why she hadn't cleaned it properly 2 days ago when I moved in and she said Hunter and Bloomfield only paid her for 1 hour, £10 for the clean and told her to do it in that time, so effectively the previous tenant has paid them £153 for the clean and they have paid £10 to the cleaner and robbed £143 off you and kept the rest for themselves.
Renewal of the contract £75 + VAT
To put your deposit in a deposit scheme £75 + VAT
The list just goes on and on, you will not be told one thing about any of these charges until the day you move in and it's too late. These are just a few of the charges in the contract, they also fraudulently advertise the apartments. I was told my rent was a certain price per month, after I had paid a £500 holding deposit and agreed to go ahead they came back with some fish story about the landlords friend putting a bid in too and if I wanted the apartment I would have to pay £100 a month more than what they'd advertised.
If you have had any dealings with "them" you'll also not believe for one second the positive reviews on here, there is no way on earth a company can get so many really negative reviews then a bunch of 5 stars ""
