Urtopia

I was looking for a flat in the Millenium Quay development (Glashier st) in 2012. I came across Urtopia's website which seemed to have many good properties for sale in the development, and so, impressed, I gave them a call. I spoke to Christopher who told me they were the "primary" agents for the development, given their location. But all the properties on the site were under offer or had been sold, he said. I grew suspicious, but he passed me to his colleague Alan Chung who arranged 2 viewings for me. We liked the flats but thought they were a bit overpriced. Alan tried to justify it by saying that a similar flat had been sold a month back. I was very interested in that development, so I had been tracking every transaction there, and I knew the flat he was talking about, but he was lying about it being a similar flat. I caught him on that immediately and he backtracked. We interacted with Alan over the next few weeks about a few more properties. Our impression of him was that he is a bit arrogant and talkative, but not very detailed in his work (he did not know all the details of the flats). We found him difficult to trust. He was not very proactive either, it was always me calling him asking about flats I had seen via zoopla. Given how keen I was on the development, I was shocked at their lackadaisical attitude. I'd suggest avoiding Urtopia, they are a waste of time.
