An initially pleasant experience with Pontings rapidly became toxic as we realised they were both alarmingly unfamiliar with basic issues and unconcerned about our welfare as tenants. Alarm bells first started ringing when we realised they had fundamentally misrepresented the parking available (they claim they corrected this but it's untrue because even once we had moved in, they continued to assure us we had access to more parking - and the neighbour confirmed that she had made the true status clear from the outset. The house then suffered from an abundance of problems due to poor workmanship and lack of maintenance by the landlord. The majority of these issues were dealt with by general handymen whom Pontings instructed but then didn't bother to chase up (

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
