Lived at the Red House (bills included in rent) September 2018 - August 2019. All maintenance requests went through the letting agent. I didn’t have hot water in my shower when I moved in. It was fixed a week later, but only after I said I would withhold rent if it wasn’t fixed. The WiFi stopped working twice, each time for more than a week. This could have been fixed sooner but the letting agent took a long time giving the engineer the correct admin logins. One of the four gas rings on the hob did not work and another only worked rarely. The letting agent was informed of this and made no attempt to fix it. A kitchen cupboard door fell without warning, almost hitting my flatmate. The letting agent only seemed to be concerned with the small dent made in the worktop that we didn’t notice until a few days after. I also requested that the lock on the door to the flat be changed as a few people from the flat upstairs could unlock it with their keys. The letting agent all but called me a liar and when my guarantor phoned to help sort the situation out he (letting agent) was very aggressive and kept telling her to be quiet.
