Viewed a property and made an offer which was accepted by owner pending the sale of ours. Confirmed via phone and emails. Upon selling ours, went to give them the good news that the sale was going ahead and was then told the home we put an offer in had been sold. Didn’t bother to tell us the seller accepted another offer and when spoken to on the phone Shaun Stocks, the agent in question, mocked me, stating “you think they would wait 2 months for you?” Whilst laughing, Refused to accept he was wrong not to tell me the house was sold. Began shouting down the phone at me and then hung up! Completely unprofessional. Complaint was made against him to his manager and the owner of edwards....surprise surprise they backed each other up and made up excuses regarding his behaviour and to top it off failed to answer the original issue of not being told about the house being taken off the market. The poor owners still have their house on offer whilst we have moved on in the meantime and are completing on another property. Just avoid completely! Plenty of professional and great estate agents in ferndown which I won’t name. But avoid edwards.
