STAY AWAY!!!! from peter james estate agents in Blackheath Standard SE3, I offered on a property which they sold to a preffered buyer or to themselves, they gave me no notice or any feedback what so ever on my offer, and when I questioned them Maria Nocerino and Demi Moore blatantly lied without hesitation and put the phone down on me very rudely not once but twice, when I asked for the directors email I was point blanked refused, when I asked for evidence of my offer being put to the vendors solicitors they could not provide me with any, once I did get through to the director Peter Burchell I experianced the same lies and cover ups, I have been in the property business for 25 years and know all the procedures and what these agents get upto, Peter James were caught out cold as they didnt realise who they dealing with, these agents can not be allowed to operate like this, this is the exact reason why the real estate market needs to be regulated to prevent these type of independent agents controlling the market to favour themselves, they are doing this openly and without any hesitation, being reported to The Property Ombudsman, ARLA, NAEA, do the right thing and go elsewhere.

27 Feb 2021what this reviewer doesn't mention is that the offer submitted was 35% less than the asking price. an offer was accepted by our client significantly higher than this reviewers offer, rest assured it was all above board, and not sold to anyone associated with Peter James, we have correspondence from our client to confirm that they were happy and content that the offer process was dealt with in a professional way, and in accordance with our regulatory body guidelines. often when a buyer doesn't get an offer agreed they blame the agent ? my advise to this particular reviewer would be, in future offer a realistic figure, your intentions will be treated much more seriously, and you won't offend the vendor in the process.

3 Mar 2021This manipulating agent has no problem in lying to cover the truth, my offer was not too low, the property needed complete refurbishment inside out, this agent themselves were advising viewers that works will be required of 80K plus therefore my offer of 75% of the asking price was perfectly reasonable, this agent also fails to mention they did not come back to me to negotiate a higher price for there vendor which is what a professional estate agent would do as standard practice, in fact they didn't come back to me at all. I had to keep chasing this agent from the very start just to submit my offer and I could tell something underhand is taking place as they were just not interested even before I had placed any offer. To date Peter James have not supplied me with the proof I requested of my offer being submitted to the vendors solicitors. Peter James now attempting to suggest my offer was too low is there manipulating attempt to cover the truth as my offer was not too low, my offer was NOT put to the vendors solicitors and this property was sold to a preferred buyer by Peter James. !!! DO NOT BELIEVE THERE FAKE REVIEWS Demi Moore & Maria Nocerino are the rudest agents you will ever deal with and no point in making a complaint because there boss Peter Burchell also has no problem in attempting to manipulate the facts in order to cover his staffs ill practices, there should be no place for this type of bad practice in our society and these independent estate agents are doing this openly by selling properties to there own preferred buyers which is exactly what happened here, DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will most definately respond to any manipulation you continue to make against me or my honest reviews regarding your company's bad practices and extremely rude staff.

My property management fee with Peter James was 12.5% plus VAT. The new estate agent who is managing my property charges 5% plus VAT. So not only was the service I received unbelievably poor, but it was also expensive in comparison to other estate agents. (note: the estate agent I transferred to is reputable and local to southeast London too).

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
